“The Creator” (lol) just announced another “Handy” feature of the new device and you chirp up with (like others on here) scrutiny and your expert sense of discernment for something you haven’t even used. So why don’t you wait for that reality, then judge?
It’s the equivalent of the creator of the worlds first bike then announcing the release of the second version of said bike, then you would be sounding like this “Those gears are merely introducing another point of failure!” My point being stop complaining about shit that you haven’t even used, and be grateful a new one is coming out - Led screen or not.

@handyAlexander Since The Handy 2 is battery powered. Will the speed, movement, power decrease with the Battery till the Battery is 0%? Or will the Handy 2 straight shut off when the Battery is 0% while maintaining its full stroke speed & power?
Would be cool when the Handy 2 starts peeping when the Battery hits 10%. So u know it needs charging.

What if you charge it 100% and then don’t get a chance to use the handy for a couple days (due to no time etc) will the battery retain it’s 100% charge or will it be at 25% or less and you’d have to wait to charge it again?
Speed will remain (as long as the power is enough to keep that speed), but power will decrease linearly. There is not much difference in power between a full and depleted battery. About 5-10 % ish.
The LED matrix will let you know when you have a low battery:-)

The battery will deplete when it is powered off, but the quiescent current is very low (it needs to be tested on the latest PCBA). We are talking about a couple of years before it goes from fully charged to depleted. Our female product takes about a year to go from fully charged to depleted, but that battery is much smaller.
