so, handy’s servers have been fucky recently (or maybe my handy’s wifi is just breaking or smth), so i was looking for ways to use my handy offline, thus leading me towards initface and bluetooth connectivity.
my handy is working perfectly fine over wi-fi (assuming it eventually connects), but when i connect it over bluetooth, the movement is very unstable, very jumpy/stuttery. thought it’s the player’s fault (ScriptPlayer) but then i tried using FapTap and pretty much same issue there.
any clue on what could cause this? my bluetooth adapter is asus bt400.
Some scripts contains sequences of points that are too close to each other, which could mean that commands are sent too frequently for bluetooth to work well. Try a slow script just to see if that work better.
Using an extension coord for the USB bluetooth dongle can also be recommended to boost signal strength.
my bluetooth dongle is already very close to the handy, i have it plugged in front of my pc so the handy is like 20cm away from it and it has no obstructions in its path.
so i’m guessing this is the limitation of the handy and there’s not much i can do to make it play more complex scripts? or could trying different, maybe better bluetooth adapters possibly help?
It’s actually a limitation using bluetooth. The same problem with skipped commands being sent applies when using Keon, Launch etc.
It’s possible that the Simplify command in OFS might help if there are lots of points in the script. However, if you are having trouble with all scripts then it’s probably something else.
