The New Gold Standard of SR6 Builds: My Mirabot S6 Review

You can choose whichever method suits your setup best. Both versions offer a seamless experience and connect to your phone and external software effortlessly.

Wi-Fi Version (Recommended)

  • Reliability: Provides a highly stable and consistent connection via 2,4 Ghz.
  • Clean Setup: One less cable to manage. No need for a separate USB cable for the ESP.
  • Flexibility: Place it anywhere in your home where you have network access.

Bluetooth Version

  • Direct Pairing: Ideal for a quick, local connection to your mobile device.

How to Switch Firmwares

If you decide to transition to the Bluetooth connection method, or Wi-Fi later, it only takes a few steps:

  1. Navigate to the Miraplay Flasher via Chrome or a Chromium based browser.
  2. Flash the dedicated Firmware.
  3. Enjoy your updated Bot!

Info: You won’t miss out on any features by choosing one over the other. It really comes down to your personal preference and how you want to integrate it into your home.

Hi Ruka, so between the wifi and bluetooth mode, I saw that the mirabot aio app can sync the machine to the phone motion. Does that work with either wifi and bluetooth or only bluetooth? That was one of the reason why I decided with bluetooth, but if wifi can also have access to that function than wifi would be better and I will have to flash a different firmware. I was also thinking about latency, so not sure how the latency differs between wifi and wired. Another reason why I picked bluetooth, but it does help with having one less cable to connect to. Wish this was posted sooner before my purchase, but I guess on the bright side, I can switch between wifi and bluetooth freely.

Yup. You can always switch between software versions. All Functions of the AIO App are available in both Modes.
Regarding Latency: I haven´t noticed any significant changes in latency between both modes. you can always connect the Device directly via cable if you want to be extra sure, but from my experience you don´t need to do it. I couldn´t notice the change in latency.
2,4 Ghz Wifi is fast enough if you don´t live in a literal bunker

Hi Ruka, can you let me know if this VESA stand will work with MiraBotX S6? I don’t have my unit yet, but I was hoping you can help me check if the measurements will work. Any help is much appreciated!

The SR6 has a Vesa 100 layout. It will fit without any issues :folded_hands:t2:

Is there any intent to add or create a squeeze module for contractions?

does’nt the t-valve create the squeeze or is that suction?

This was the last thing I ever read about a dedicated squeeze module, seems like it might’ve been too unreliable cause it’s status was never updated.

Original Post

But to be honest, the suction of the T-Valve + a sufficiently tight Sleeve does a great job when paired with the Twist module. I’d argue that it feels pretty much identical to this concept.

Someone explained it a bit better
