I’ve looked at the specs, and the pro looks much better than Melody.
Not a lot of info has been released about the Melody but from what I gather from these posts:
SexLikeReal Stroker in the making - General - EroScripts
Upcoming Melody Wellness Stroker – Everything You Need to Know
It has a stroke length of 120mm (down from handy is 110mm, handy 2 is 115mm), and the speed is 150 strokes per minute. 150 full strokes (120mm times 2 for a full stroke) is 600mm/s - theoretically. Physics dictates it has to slow down before changing direction, and spending some time accelerating. Handy 2 pro is 800mm/s with overclocking, 450mm/s normally, up from 400mm/s from the handy 1.
I was really excited about the Melody. It seemed like a Handy killer, with the only downside being it’s part of the SLR-ecosystem, the same way Apple products have their own ecosystem.
But then the Handy team reworked everything from scratch with the Handy 2, making their own custom motor, and adding quality parts throughout. The Handy 2 Pro can be beat, but not anytime soon. I think SLR either will have to release Melody very cheaply to get some sales and get their product tested - then work on a 2nd version to be released next year. Or they delay their release until next year, trying to beat the Handy 2 Pro.
As it stands, Melody has gone from something I was very excited about to being dead on arrival in its current form. That’s how big the Handy 2 Pro improvement is.
