My handy arrive on friday and it just makes a whining noise from the motor but it doesnt move at all. Im assuming someone else has had the same issue. I want to try and fix it at home as returning it means sending back to another country and i threw out the box the day i got it. Both the Lovehoney and Thehandy websites use useless AI bots.
Is there a way of opening them up?

Have you tried asking for help on their Discord server? There’s a channel there just for support.
There are instuctions on their webite FAQ page - but it would invalidate your warantee, and there if no guarantee that you will be able to fix what is broken. Email them - they are a friendly bunch - I’m sure they will help.

Tell them the order number and explain the problem. They’re friendly and very good about getting you a replacement if there’s an issue.
Lovehoney should refund or replace etc but you msy be able to fix using a 2mm hex key - adjusting the motor spindle to the connector part. You can see them through the slider slot.

I got a refund from lovehoney, but i still have the unit. Ill have tried to tighten it though the slide gap but they seem to already be cranked down to the maxium tightness. Ill open it up this weekend and let you know if i make any progress
