Ah yes, Impromptu review time cause I did forget about it honestly after using it a handful of times.
I’ll go over some of the aspects of it
Design - 6.5/10
Compared to the Handy/SR1, the fact you can’t really injure yourself by accident is probably the biggest merit for it when it comes to design. The buttons are tactile so you’ll know when you hit them and they also take a bit of force to depress so its harder to hit them by accident. The vibration functions were only okay even with going between all of the different settings, the most that changed was the time between vibrations, there wasn’t really a change in intensity. Heat function, yeah pretty sure either its really weak or mine was just DoA out of the box because it never got to the point of being as warm as using a heating stick inside of it.
Useability - 5/10
It’s compact, portable, and smaller, which I think also played in a part of how useable it was or wasn’t. There’s no strap or anything to hold onto other than either applying pressure at the top of it or holding it in place with one of your hands which can become a bit more tiresome and awkward. I don’t have much to say on this part because I honestly didn’t find it overall that great to use.
Acoustics - 8/10
It’s more quiet than the handy and SR1, that’s about it.
Feel - 4/10
To put it plain and simple, it sucks. Like, its bad, sucks. Even when using both the vibration and the lackluster heating function, I honestly wasn’t enjoying it as much as just using the SR1/Handy instead. Stroke length on it wasn’t great, I’m the average length of 5-6" (12-15cm), so I was expecting it to be able to go a little further up and down than it does. Majority of the feeling comes from the middle of the shaft and that’s about it. It can’t go as far down since the base of the sleeve probably takes up about 1/4-1/2" (.6-1.2cm) already right at the entrance, probably just to help with comfortability. The way it moves the sleeve also wasn’t great since it felt like the circular rings that move up and down weren’t also moving the sleeve as depicted in demonstrational gifs and videos.
Scripts - 6/10
The delay between Faptap and this guy is actually pretty minimal. When you connect it to Faptap, it actually brings up a bar that also allows you to adjust the delay time. There’s also an ‘intense mode’ toggle that allows the device to move faster but honestly, I couldn’t tell the difference with the toggle on or off even when playing scripts that use a lot of movements. Its not as fast as the handy or SR1, if you were wondering that, so intense videos would just have to skip over some strokes if it couldn’t go fast enough.
Overall - 6.5/10
I was interested and excited about it because it had features like BT connection and heating function. After using it for a bit, I’ll probably won’t ever use it again.
Compared to the Handy and SR1, the Thrust Sync is more like the Thrust Sink.
It doesn’t hold up well in more fast-paced scripts, there is no easy way to hold onto it other than holding it like a regular sleeve, which at that point, might as well just use a regular sleeve because the feeling from the Thrust Sync aren’t great due to how it isn’t able to do full strokes and movements like the SR1 and Handy. Overall, I personally wouldn’t get one because the handy and SR1 are so much better costing only a little more.
Thanks for reading my FapTalk.
