Would it be difficult to add scripts for vibrator toys to already existing game mod integrations ? So that we can use multiple toys at the same time.
I think it’s already possible to some degree, but it’s not something I checked recently. If you’re willing you can try the following:
For funscript player

Under the ButtplugConfiguration section, set MultiDevice to true.
This should allow more than one device to connect to intiface -
If you don’t want to write your own scripts you can use the converter: Under CommandProcessorConfiguration → LinearToVibrateConversion set ConvertLinearToVibrate to true.

To use your own scripts, they must match the existing script names, but end with .vibrate.funscript. Eg. animation_1.funscript becomes animation_1.vibrate.funscript
This way vibration scripts will go to toys marked with vibration support and the linear scripts to stroke devices.
For Edi

I believe it already connects multiple devices unless I’m mistaken.

If you don’t want to write your own scripts then Edi should by default just convert the existing scripts for vibration/rotation. With multiple devices connected, assign the same variant to both.

To use your own scripts separate from the stroking ones you can divide them into folders inside the Gallery folder. Place the existing scripts in a folder called linear. And your vibration scripts in vibration. Each subfolder should be seen as a variant in Edi. You can then assign the linear variant to a stroker and the vibration variant to a vibrating device. As long as the script names matches the one the game sends over, they both should play.
But this probably won’t be as straightforward. I think Edi will still see the scripts as stroke scripts and try to run some form of conversion on them.
I don’t have multiple devices to test this out right now, so let me know if this works or if anything’s unclear.

Adding logging to EDI is still a big task on my to-do list, haha. Maybe I could ask ChatGPT to handle this for me!
I’m not aware of anything that does this at the moment. I would need to write custom logic for it, but I was hoping to retire my player eventually. Are there games where only vibration scripts exist? I can’t think that there would be many. Maybe someone would be willing to write stroke scripts for them instead?
When I saw they were doing a new game, I was looking forward to see what it was going to be. Tbh when I saw the trailer I was kind of let down. The game’s animations seems to just be pictures that shake with sound effects. Unless there’s more interesting scenes that play out, right now it’s kind of lower down on my priority list of things I’m personally interested in.
I’ll add it to the demo poll in the future to get a guage on overall interest though. If no one else picks it up I might get to it eventually.
AI has actually been such a time saver for me these days when working on code. If prompted correctly it will produce almost the ideal solution most of the time. And when facing a bug or when I have a question that can be answered by searching through documentation, the AI can usually just answer my question directly. I can hardly remember when I was last on stackoverflow
That’s totally fair, this is the first game in a while from Dieselmine without the amazing animations, so sad
Tried playing this one but can’t get it to work. I’ve followed the instructions on the README file but does not play the scripts when the game animations play in game. Not sure what I am missing. Any one else having the same issue? The mod for this game is using Edi instead of the Fun script player if that helps.
Also will this one by chance have full game integration instead of just the trail version in the future?

If it does and it still doesn’t work can you search for anything resembling a log file, either in the game folder or inside the BepInex folder. If you can send that to me in a private message it might reveal what the issue is.
I’d like to get to it eventually. It’ll probably be the next full game I’ll look at. But I first want to finish up the stuff I mentioned before and get a new poll started.

Paradox is technically a sequel. The previous game is a VN style RPG.

I think this is the first part of the first game. Both games were released in three parts. With Paradox’s third part releasing the start of this month.
I wasn’t sure if the original would be moddable, and the sequel covers mostly the same type of scenes and way more.
Pure Onyx is already integrated, is it not?
From my understanding a lot of work was put into it but was not in a working state. I believe there’s a work around to get it to work with a previous version but it is still unfinished scripts to my understanding. I think I would be a quick finish but then again I have no idea how to mod.
I’ve been sitting on the list and growing it over time. It makes sense some of them might have had another user write a mod for it. I must have just missed it.
If it’s already done then maybe I can look at something else in its place. As it stands now it is quite a bit low on the list. So it might not come up that soon. I was thinking it might reappear in another poll in the future if it doesn’t fit into my next batch, but now it might just fall away.
