So my SR6 Midnight Steel has arrived from osrmarket.io…Hooray! However I am having trouble mounting it in a way that will be useful. I bought a standard VESA monitor mount, and the holes in the mounting plate match up with the “bolts”, for lack of a better word, on the underside of the SR6. However there is no way to hold it in place. It occurred to me that perhaps I should remove the bolts and put some screws in the holes, but the bolts have no grooves in which for me to get a screwdriver. In fact Google Lens identified them as stripped screws…but I can’t believe the manufacturer would have shipped the unit to me with four stripped screws. What am I doing wrong?
So photo’s blurry theyre def not screws, assumption is like what er0s1 said, theyre probably hexkey, if not theyre one of those specialized holes. Worst case scenario, since it seems like those bolts aren’t flush with the plate, you can get some pliers or visegrips and clamp the outside and turn. just dont clamp too hard.
