Tried to search answer but no luck. So I am watching videos on Openfunscripter and have connected Handy and Lovesense Edge 2 trough Interface central and Multifunplayer. When I pause video vibrator stays on in that intensity what it is currently played in the video. It will continue working normally when unpausing. Tried to change “Auto home” settings and “Sync settings” in Multifunplayer but seems that those have no effect. Only way to stop vibrator when paused is to move sliders in Interface central. In Multifunplayer the “V0” is at 0% when paused but for some reason device is not stopping. Can anyone suggest what to try next?
I don’t know the issue, but I’m surprised that you use a tool for creating scripts as your primary script player. It’s not what it’s made for. Have you tried using ScriptPlayer instead?
I make and edit some scripts with it so maybe it is just a familiar software so have been using that. But I will try scriptplayer. Haven’t used vibrator before so this was a new problem.
Its because the only thing you pause is the current position, this makes it keep its strength. Initface converts position to strength. MFP doesnt care about paused or playing scripts at all, since it might as well have been connected to a handy, MFP cannot control anything beyond that since it just doenst know what is connected. You configure that yourself.
If there it doesnt have the vibrator channels (or only use 1), that might also make it behave diffirent. The edge has 2 channels and both must be set up correctly.
(i created a v2 channel myself in this example)
(also, ever since i got the OSR2, that L0 channel in the image for some reason always has been red)
Found solution. I changed Device update from “PolledUpdate” to “FixedUpdate”. Dont know why this helps but it stops vibration. And that “Autohome” is also enabled.
That should work in both cases unless its some device specific issue. Can I get trace logs from you when using FixedUpdate vs PolledUpdate?
Change log level to trace via application settings at the top of the window, then connect to intiface and make the vibrator go to 0% using FixedUpdate then switch it to PolledUpdate, then change log level back to info and post/DM me the latest log file. Thanks.
