Video/script Player on playground.handyfeeling dead?

Hi :saluting_face:
I have been using the video/script player from the following address for a long time:

It seems to be down since 2 days (yes I contacted the support but no return and I do not know if there will be one)
Do you know of a credible alternative?
(I was fine with this one because it had the a-b loop and the repeat one)

I also use that player. I find it easier to use than the Handyfeeling one and it has more controls. If I remember rightly its actually made by a member of the Handy team [or was?].
I also noticed it being down from around 2 days ago and like yourself I also contacted support with no feedback as of yet.
None of the other pages seem to be down eg The Simple scripter. - just the handyAlexander’s local video player - 2022.
The Handy team do check out eroscripts so possibly they might see this and look into it - lets hope they do! :wave: :wave: :+1:

However, I still can’t use it.
the interface is back, but when I connect the device, nothing is adjustable, and I can’t disconnect either.
Something must be missing… :thinking:

Hi

I spent more hours resolving it, and something in the old SDK made the app unfunctional. To fix it would take me more time than to build a new app. I have plans for the new.handyfeeling.com video player to have more features than the old handyfeeling app. What feature did you like about the playground app? Then, I can put similar features into our new app.

What I liked was the ability to create loops by determining a beginning and an end.
That’s about the only essential thing I used that I thought was great about this app.
(Being able to determine length and sync too but that’s pretty obvious I guess)
And ofc mute the script ?

Thank you for working on fixing it. However, it doesn’t seem to work with FW 4. The script never loads and the connection button is indicating you need to “update”

Still not working for me on Alternative local video player
I’m on Handy FW 3.2.3, tryied an update to v4 but Heresphere couldn’t maintain the connection to script more than few sec …
So i’ve downgraded to 3.2.3 again

The player can launch the video but still cannot play the script :sob:

Hi.
Thank you for the feedback. For some reason, the lib is no longer available on npm. I copied in a local version, and it works again. If this does not fix it, I will add the same features to the new one.handyfeeling instead. I will probably do that anyway.
