I’m looking for some advice on what kind of anal toy I should buy next.
A bit of background: I’ve used anal toys on and off for quite a few years, including both dildos and vibrators. I enjoy them, and I feel like it’s time to invest in something a bit more premium instead of continuing to buy cheaper toys.
One thing that’s important to me is that it can be used alongside my The Handy when watching interactive videos. I’ve always been interested in sex machines, and I actually bought a very cheap one a while ago. Despite being low quality and quite slow, I still found the experience really enjoyable, which made me even more interested in getting a better machine.
Lately I’ve been looking at the Lovense Mini Sex Machine. However, I’m unsure whether it might be too intense, too cumbersome to set up, or perhaps not work that well with scripts and interactive videos. My concern is that I might spend the money and then end up not using it very much.
The other option would be to buy a higher-end anal vibrator instead. I already own several cheaper vibrators, but none of them have really impressed me or felt like a significant upgrade. I’ve been considering toys like the Hush 2 or Edge 2, but I’m not sure whether they would actually feel like a big step up from what I already have.
If you were in my position, what would you choose? Has anyone here tried both a machine like the Lovense Mini Sex Machine and premium vibrators such as the Hush 2 or Edge 2? Which one felt more worthwhile, and which gave you that “wow” factor?
I own some aneros devices some other devices from not so well known brands and the edge 2 hush 2 and gush from lovense … and i gotta say i like the edge 2 the most. Im looking into purchasing a handy2 most peope start their journey with a smart stroker and then go the smart anal device I’m walking the opposite path
I’ve experimented a lot with this - it is a little bit of extra work to set up, but can lead to some amazing sessions. First thing to establish is that everyone experiences pleasure differently, so advice on a single method is already going to section into smaller groups, and when combining two or more different inputs, you are going to find you are the only person something ‘works’ for.
For the two toys you’ve listed:
-Edge 2 has rumblier vibes, and more prostate-specific targeting. I drop the perinium vibe to ~50%, and the internal to 25%. Can be a bit uncomfortable to sit on, so leaning way back with legs up, or on a pillow is recommended.
-Hush 2 is slightly more buzzy, and not prostate targeted. You can drop intensity, but since it’s not directly on prostate I keep it at 100%. Much more comfortable to sit on for longer sessions.
If vibe-specific funscripts are available, I use MultiFunPlayer/Intiface central to connect the toys. If not available, I use the stroker funscript, with Interpolation type:Step, and add a small offset to give an anticipatory buzz to every Handy stroke. Alternatively, I might just run a pattern from the Lovense app if I’m not in the mood for sync.
I don’t have any experience with the Lovense Mini Sex Machine, but my experience with a HiSmith-style thrusting machine have not been particularly successful - like you suggest, it is cumbersome to set up and get everything in position, and never seems to pay off.
