Hi everyone,
I have had my handy for a couple years and it has been amazing, but sometimes I am too lazy to set up the hands free, I don’t use it without my handsfree set up. I am thinking about getting the Gush 2, and wanted the opinion/ review of the people that have one. Or if anyone has any other suggestions for devices. I understand the sensation and experience between the 2 devices are going to be different. Any thoughts would be great. Thsnks
I don’t have the Gush 2 specifically but I’ve used similar devices.
You can’t really compare a stroker to a vibrator, its apples to oranges. One you get the sensation from the motion of a stroke. The other just vibrates really fast(the main thing I remember is that you do just kinda go numb after a while due to the vibrations) and there are vibe scripts on here but the two sensations can’t really be compared. You can obviously stroke with it but its not the same as using a sleeve.
At that point you might as well just get a non-funscript sleeve that has vibration, I know fleshlight has the vibro or w/e its called and Tenga had the FlipZero EV. Both are sleeves that basically have vibrators built in.
If you want a funscript stroker device that doesnt require as much setup there’s the Kiiroo Keon but its worse than TheHandy in terms of accuracy/speed. You could also check intiface’s website for other funscript compatible devices.
Honestly the major thing is that Lovense seems to be very disappointing for most of the community when it comes to their devices. Atm the only thing of theirs that I use is the Edge 2, but that’s a prostate massager and thats not for everyone.

I got it a few weeks ago to see whether I’ll like it enough to see if I’d be adapting my videos’ funscripts for those who have a Gush, but don’t have a stroker.
Tried the whole library of Gush focused funscripts available here in a few sessions and honestly it’s just underwhelming.
It does a pretty good job at serving as a warmup tool, or if you’re doing some kegel training session. But undergoing a full session with it, and with hopes to finish - definitely a chore. Well at least for me.
Maybe I’ve just been spoiled by the Edge 2 and the superior sensations it provides. At least when using the Edge 2 you can use your favorite toy to stroke on top of that. You can use the Gush 2 for that, but then the stroking sort of cancels out the vibrations, so what’s the point anyway.
Edge 2 is the ultimate vibrator and I’d rather be focusing on multi-device funscripts for a stroker + edge 2 for that ultimate stimulation.

Thank you guys for the response. I am going to hold off on getting the Gush 2, but with the Edge 2 being mentioned twice, I decided to check it out and ended up ordering one. Apparently there is a lovesense sale going on 50% off. Thanks for your guys’ input.

That’s one of the issues people have with lovense, everything is basically always on ‘sale’. It helps drive sales of a product if you think you’re getting a deal on it. Like I seriously dont think Ive ever seen their stuff not on sale. If its always on sale, its not on sale, thats just the base price.
The one thing to note is the Edge 2 is a prostate massager and not just a vibrator. Your mileage may vary cause not everyone has the same reaction to insertion or prostate play.
Also the edge 2 has 2 separate vibrators, one on the internal massager and one on the external. If you want to get the best use out of it, its best used with a stroker and with multifunplayer since you can register each vibe to a different axis. And for some reason script player only really uses one of them. Like idk what it is, i just cant get full use thru script player.
I have both the gush 2, kiiroo pulse and the handy. In my personal opinion, the gush 2 is a really nice device for specifically for edge play and handsfree play; this is especially for when I dont want to whip out the whole handy setup with lube and mounting it. With the gush I can just strap it and watch.
It definitely had an upgrade in terms of vibrations from its 1st generation with the pulse tech and you can definitely feel it.
Ultimately it depends on if you want to orgasm from stroking or from vibrations which is a very different feel. Stroking will always be nicer but the ease of use and cleaning from the gush 2 is what I love about it.
I highly recommend if you do get it that you dont use their given straps unless you are massive down there. The first generation’s band actually equips nicer for me at least than the ones given in the gen 2.
Also on a side note if you’re feeling adventurous, the gush 2 has the possibility for public play and easier portability compared to other toy counterparts.
