I think the priority should actually be discretion. What’s the biggest reason people don’t want a powered masturbator? It looks like a sex toy, and sounds like one. Make it look stylish and innocuous, something which doesn’t scream “lonely guy puts his dick in this” and give it a whisper quiet motor. Solve that little puzzle and you’re off to a flying start.

Squeeze setting (grip strength of 1,2,3) would be easy to add to scripts and probably a challenge for the engineering, but it would be my top priority in terms of features not found elsewhere.

I would only be interested, if it had some open API that developers could use to interact with it without having to subscribe to SLR’s expensive plans or required to be used with the SLR app.
Personally, I’m not really into professional looking porn, I prefer amateur content.

Just want to agree with most of above. Twist and a squeeze setting would be awesome. As would something more discrete: quiet and can be easily attached to a table or chair and be easily put away.

A more quiet toy similar to handy is all i need tbh. Since I can hear every word my neighbour is saying it sucks that I can only use it on certain times on the day. No night parties for me :frowning:

So, to summarize…

POWERFUL AND FAST! But whisper quiet.
AC POWERED! But also portable.
Able to use any sleeve ever created, or that ever will be created.

Sounds like a tall order! I totally get why everyone is asking for conflicting things, and I’m not judging, but it is kind of funny. I love the creativity!

Mountable, open API, wifi… All those are no-brainers. Finding a way to get a second axis in, whether that’s pressure or twist, in a way that can be relatively easily coded would be great, but also challenging.

I wish you the best of luck, and can’t wait to see what you come up with! I would add to the list, but I think everything has already been mentioned…

Let’s not get this twisted - the vast majority are asking for one specific third party sleeve requirement, that being full size fleshlight sleeves which all have the exact same size and dimensions.

I’m not being anal for the sake of it. I’m only pointing it out because I don’t want this suggestion to become confused with something that would sound untenable and be disregarded as a result. It is a dealbreaker for many, myself included.

I think SLR shall concentrate on other things like original and mind-blowing videos, scripting tools and script subscriptions.

We have more than enough choice on the hardware side already.

What we need is on the soft side

Well as pointed out by everybody and yourself.
Something that breaks the law of physics.
If your what every reason this comes to reality (i see this only in a massiv collab with a toybuilder)
the cost of replacing the sleeve to keep things hygenic should be affortable. (20$ range)

I would like to see software more then hardware from slr.

Collab to make a awesome toy with a other BIG company is ok tho.

I realize I’n very late to the party but I’ll chip in anyway haha
Must haves for me:

  1. At least as fast and responsive as the handy. A step between the handy and osr/sr6 is what I’m thinking

  2. Open API so that 3rd party developers can add support (specifically stash and xbvr, the handy team actually sent one of the Stash Devs a free handy to encourage him to maintain support) vr is awesome but it requires more time and setup, if I’m gonna spend £150+ on a new toy it has to be able to work with 2d funscripts posted here, on patreon/gumtree and anywhere else scripters may choose to share their work.

  3. A “gimmick” thats unavailable on the handy. Could be a new axis, squeeze, autolube etc (basically one of the sr6’s fancy options or something else you can come up with)

  4. The ability to use scripts while fully offline, could be over Bluetooth or WiFi

  5. Mains power so there’s no time limit on sessions

  6. Compatibility with 3rd party sleeves / a wide variety of affordable first party sleeves

Things that would be really nice but not essential:

  1. Easier hands free options than the handy

  2. Physical button that pauses/plays the script but not the video

  3. Quieter than handy

  4. Larger stroke zone than the Handy

  5. A better attachment system for the sleeve, fiddling with the velcro on the handy (ie when needing to add lube) while wearing vr is a pain
