So despite all of the positives of the Handy, one of the biggest negatives is that its a pretty garbage device to use by hand. It’s not ergonomic and is awkward to hold in place, so the only way people ever recommend to use the device is with a handsfree setup.
The easiest way to get a handsfree setup is buy the official bundle. But no one recommends this setup specifically because the handsfree cup is plastic and it will break whether it be because of the nut/bolt used to tighten the cup(overtightening plastic will snap it) or because of the singular contact point of the arm with the cup(from what i understand the motion of the device tends to sheer it or something).

You have to figure out what works best for your situation because not everyone has the same setup. I tried the stanley vicegrip but it cracked an ikea table because it wasn’t solid wood. Table clamps are also unusable with glass. Other people can just print out something. While others can do some woodwork and use some nuts and bolts.
There are setups in there you have to make, there are some that you can buy the parts for and assemble.
The best way isn’t always the easy way.
