SR1 2.0 or The Handy? I see everyone with a Handy, but I read a lot of good things about the SR1. So what is better?
Short easy answer: Either of them are good, the latter has a better/longer track record and is more of a commercial product. The former has an extra axis if you pay for it.
Actual relevant answer: Go do your research. Use the search bar. There are MANY threads on this site that are real recent that talk about the various ups and downs. What is better? Are you looking for price, stroke range/speed, reliability, durability? Do you want open sleeve or hardcase sleeves.
It doesn’t help if you give no specifications or details.
No product is a one size fits all.

Nothing wrong with lamp’s answer, always a good idea to do some research and so on, but
SR1.
I have the SR1 v1, not the v2, and I have TheHandy, both for more than a half year, TheHandy get dusty, SR1 is often in use.
From my experience and in my very own and humble opinion SR1 beats TheHandy in all aspects.
If I would have been really happy with TheHandy I wouldn’t have bought the SR1, super happy with it now, recommended.
