So I have been looking into web browsers and cannot decide what to use. For the longest time I’ve used Google Chrome, but I’m curious if there are better alternatives. I’ve done a bit of research but cannot seem to find a conclusion on which is the best browser to use.
I stopped using Chrome when they decided to ban Ublock Origin.
Brave is very good, it has adblocking built in, and is excellent to watch Youtube without advertisements.
Firefox with Ublock Origin also works very well.
I switched from Chrome to Edge a few years ago because it’s the same general experience with chromium but performs way better, uses very little RAM. Not sure if it’s the best but it’s worked well for me. Recently I’ve been having issues with Twitch being broken on Edge so I use Firefox for Twitch now.
I work at IT and personally i use Librewolf (hardened firefox) + Ublock Origin, Brave for customers, and Edge in that order.

Brave if you still need chromium based ones (some sites dont work well on firefox and the other ones based on it).
+1 to edge.
most/all chrome extensions work on edge.
I like Edge because it has “Workspaces” - which keep the same tabs open across devices. It also has vertical tabs, which is the only sensible UI for browsers on a desktop.
I personally use vivaldi.
I’m looking forward to ladybird though.
I personally use opera GX cause I’ve gotten used to the layout. Brave is a really good one, Librewolf is like firefox but a lot more privacy (doesn’t save passwords, etc.)
Firefox is my favorite at the moment. The only thing I dislike is the ads on the launch page.
