I’ve been here a while and I have noticed that new scripts increasingly are animated and PMV. What happened? Why is this trend seeming to accelerate?
The market follows whats popular.
I’d argue that 2D action based scripts that have camera angle cuts are the most difficult to script.
Music based scripts are shorter generally and allow for a good amount of freedom
Hentai and 3D mostly consist of cyclical patterns
VR has a static camera pointed at the action
Animated content is shorter and less varied. That makes it a lot easier to script. I’m pretty sure that’s the overwhelming majority reason for its prevalence.
PMV’s are another matter, with at least a few people using automatic generation tools. I don’t think they’re very good, and usually don’t even like the music.
Regarding the comment about the PMVs, I can take credit for some of the latest uploads:

And yep, I used an automated app that I created myself. But they’re not short, and I don’t think they’re bad, lol ![]()
I actually decided to create the app because I saw there was nothing similar in terms of tracking quality and options, and I think that after a lot of work and testing, the app does its job well and keeps up with the music’s rhythm perfectly, plus it has various moods and settings to suit the user’s taste, so for every PMV posted, there are several funscripts to choose from.
The ones I’ve posted range from 40 minutes to an hour and a half. I can’t test absolutely all of them on the actual device due to lack of time, but the ones I’ve tested have worked well and do a good job of following the beat of the music. And even though it’s an automated process, I always check how they look and make adjustments and corrections if necessary (note: it’s rarely necessary to make manual corrections; what I do is readjust the app’s settings).
There are plenty of new scripts that aren’t 3d/animated or pmv they are just paid instead of being free.
Because everybody’s crazy ajtrader23. Lmao.
Someone pointed out in an earlier iteration of this topic that much of the flood of short animated clips is to drive Patreon subs for the scripters.
I just think of them as ads and ignore.
Well, for anime videos, it has a benefit over normal videos for specificly short videos. Anime often can show the more extreme things, and has a higher amount of detail put into this. For real sex videos, there are several problems making a lot of videos a poor choice: bad camera angle, no visible cumshots (which anime seems to like), the scripter is required to like the specific women, where in anime this is rarely an issue.
And anime has the benefit of characters often being far better known. Most people wont be talking about their fav pornstar in public, yet in anime this isnt a problem as the series themselve dont involve that, but that they feature in this videos still can make the demand for these higher.
Its also easy to script due to very static pacing, and strokes being nearly always identical.
Real sex videos rarely feature this, most of the time if they are cut this short, its cut all over the place making it a horrible video to script. Under 3mins is therefor generaly rare to see. But this is where PMVs compensate, as they do allow this.
And if there was a short real sex video, its most likely already included within a PMV.
Its natural. Only for multiaxis and 3d content, real content starts to become better, as these are usualy involving setups that benefit from realism. Anime can surely show up, but it wont feal realistic.
