We probably want start looking that way.
To be honest, in most cases its meaningless to design a stroker that way. When you design such thing for both, in most cases people can only use 1 of the methods. The only exception is anal for male.
And such feature generaly comes at a cost elsewhere. Less strength, higher wear, less convenient to use, or a higher cost.
In most cases having 2 devices at 60% the cost is better than 1 that can do both. As in the end, those 2 devices can be used at the same time.
For this i would say that its all about having a good adapter, and device that supports such adapter. And thats as far as you should go here. For example dildo sex machines can often also attach a fleshlight to it by using an adapter. Which doesnt reduce the power of the device at all, while barely adding any inconvenience.
Adapters can make things easy to use in multiple ways.
And if you can design your device to provide good adapter support, then i will definitely say its a good thing to go for. But thats only if cost wise it doesnt matter. If the device becomes too expesive, the competition will just win here.
True convertible systems rarely make sense here, as the part you want to stimulate basicly already decides what is needed. As if a woman can make any use out of an automated stroker. At best they can have a dual sided dildo in that. But that still will be less powerfull than having the dildo directly attached. And there are already plenty of options to buy here.
And if you want to stimulate 2 areas, 2 devices are better than 1 in most cases. And sure, it would be nice if thats 2x the same devices and an adapter for 1 of them. But again, costs matter a lot.
But good luck at designing that, since you already were looking that way, i suspect you do have ideas for this. And if those are good, it might be doable at a cheap enough price. You only know if you try. Im definitely curious to see if you can manage that, as it would be a very nice achievement, and potentialy upset the market in such way others also want to go that direction.
Especialy for funscript based machies, i can only endorse it.

because none of them have the power needed. If you look you will find a member that made it happen, and all they had to do was strap 2 handy’s together and then write a program so they both sync.
An even more classic lifehack was that people used the fleshlight launch. and in the fleshlight case strapped a double sided dildo. Power wise it did enough already. Its not extreme levels like a normal fucking machine, but it worked for synching content, and didnt even require special software.
Thats why i say its a case of an adapter that can realy make a product versatile.
As long as you make a machine that in some method allows you to secure a sleeve or dildo to it, its usable for both.
Sometimes trying to make things too complex doesnt mean improvement.
And sex machines can be very powerfull. You probably never experienced this thing:
Its 2000 RPM is real.12 strokes of 5cm per second. With a capability to use a dildo or sleeve (as the box shows). Power wise its essentialy just a power tool, but adapted for sex usage (its limited to some degree).
Sure, at this speed the sleeve doesnt realy feel like a stroker anymore and instead is like a vibrator. But it does work, is powerfull and battery operated. Dont underestimate the power of fucking machines. The only reason they are often kept weaker is because of safety.
…it would appear that more powerful motors are gonna be an obvious selling point with the next gen of strokers. SRFun1 raised the bar, SLR’s stroker is similar, Handy 2.0 is presumably in the works, which will be a beast (they’ll wanna cement their hold on the crown, i assume), and who knows what’s gonna be coming in out the blue next year
Anyway, i speculate that there won’t be any need to strap two strokers together moving forward, which will open up scripted penetrators as a new marketable device, without having to do anything particularly clever, and further boost sales, leading back to even more powerful motors after that…
