Hey all,
Like many of you, I wanted an easy way to create standalone funscripts by just manually controlling The Handy (teasing patterns, edging loops, variable strokes etc.) — no video needed.
Existing tools are great for syncing to video, but nothing really lets you:
- Use sliders like the official remote control (stroke range + speed)
- Feel the device move in real-time
- Record everything you do
- Export it for later playback or stitching
So over the holidays, with a lot of help from Claude/Anthropic (AI co-pilot for debugging API, UI iterations etc.), I built a simple web-based recorder.
Current status: Fully working prototype
- Single HTML file (mobile-first, also works on desktop)
- Connect with your Handy key
- Official-style sliders: stroke range (min/max) + speed
- Smooth oscillating motion (exactly like the Handyverse remote)
- Start Recording → perform your pattern → Stop & Export JSON log of all changes with timestamps
- Ready for conversion to proper .funscript or stitching minis
Next steps (reserved for updates)
- Direct .funscript export (simulate oscillation into position actions)
- In-app playback of recordings
- Minor polish + presets
- GitHub release + GitHub Pages hosting for instant use
[Reserved — will update with links, screenshots, downloads when ready]
Interested?
- Anyone want to test once I push the first public version? Should be ready by Christmas, definitely before New Year.
- Suggestions welcome (especially on funscript conversion)
Current intentions are no ongoing support once its working — will open-source on GitHub and let the community fork/improve if desired. But will host, so can just jump straight in.
Thanks!
A new handy user.
