Xhamster now has a massive database of handy compatible videos..like TONS of them! Hand scripted too..no A.I nonsense. Definately worth a try if you havent done so..past 3 nights i havent touched any of my downloaded vids

If its not AI or machine scripted, then who worked on it? Is it actually handscripted or is it just scripts taken from somewhere else?

If we can’t tell who made the scripts, then theyre either taken from here, ai generated or someone is pumping out scripts and we don’t know of them.

Honestly, I’ll need the opinions on the scripts from the other scripters in the community.
On TheHandy subreddit, I see a handy rep saying its done by their human scripters, but I also see comments that some of these scripts weren’t great.
I’ll hold judgement for now. But if it is human scripting, its probably AI assisted cause this output of scripts for videos would be impractical otherwise.
I’m not even gonna bother with it cause its Handy only, so its unusable with anything not on that platform. And if I’m setting up an entire rig, its gonna be my OSR.
Again, definitely need the scripters in the community to take a look at it since they have a better eye for this than just the users.

If you have the Handy connected, there appears to be a download funscript button. I hit it for a video and it downloaded the script to my harddrive. If youre connected and just play the video, it just plays and theHandy responds.
edit: nvm it gave me a 2hr 58min file thats mostly empty for a 12min video
Xhamster is listed on IVDB (scroll almost to the end) so I’m pretty sure it’s AI generated and maybe a human did some checks to see that the AI didn’t mess up completely.

you have to be on the handy firmware 4 update. and for me its so bugged like the handy feels weird when it goes up and down, like its vibrating.
Do you not have the same problem?
Since the site is listed on IVDB (scroll almost to the end) I’m pretty sure you can only get script tokens if there is a way to download anything from Xhamster.

Yeah with that amount of scripts out for all of those videos.
There wouldn’t have been any reason for someone in the scripting community to say that they worked on it and want to promote it themselves. Cause even if they say they have a human scripter, its still kind of sketch we don’t know who it is given that the amount of scripters is tiny.

I see a few other names, nothing immediately shows up on a quick user search so yeah idk. Will need the scripters to take a look at the quality of the scripts.
The main concern about the whole xhamster thing, was where they were getting their scripts. Cause if theyre pumping out AI scripts, yeah they’ll prob suck or be okay but it doesnt necessarily directly harm anyone. But if we’re getting a faptap 2.0 where people are just stealing scripts from here and uploading them, then that would be a problem.

IVDB has been their site for a long time. They would hand script and upload a ton all at once after some months. They tend to have a couple unspoken rules. If it can’t be seen, it can’t be scripted. If it can be scripted, it must be a 1:1 match for the content. I find their scripts to be fairly accurate while often missing the quality you get from community creators.
IVDB hasn’t worked so well for me for many months but I had specifically noticed a ton of xhamster videos being added there. They almost exclusively swapped to it a while back. I could only get it working with IVE and then the site just completely stopped working for me.
All that said, the experience on xhamster has been awesome. Hopefully they choose to stick with it after whatever trial deal they probably have going on.

I’m sure they’re hand scripted in a sense that the scripts are edited by a human but it’s likely that point tracking is at least used to speed things up.
That’s not really a bad thing but if you are anti OpenCV then that might matter.
so how do you get to these scripts?
Is there a way to have an additional tag with “the handy” one?
95% of the videos I’ve browsed on the first few pages does not interest me, nor do I want to go through them all.
