$50 max!? Ultimate self bondage, DIY, cheap, safe, instructions

I plan to self-bondage, but I wanted to share my ideas, so you can do it too, and in case I am missing something.

Paint.exe

Goal

  • You are restrained and cannot escape for configurable time
  • Stroking is automated/scripted/controlled by someone
  • Lube supply is automatic
  • Sacrifical safe-guards in place (You have to sacrifice something, if you really need to escape)
  • Automatic content supply (VR headset, scripts, videos)

What you need

  • Programmable stroker, like “The Handy”
  • Peristaltic pump to supply lube
  • Time relay (to control lube supply over time)
  • Timer lock to keep you restrained
  • A VR headset (I’ll follow with that, you can chose another content supply method)
  • Rope, cable zip ties, tape (maybe woodplates, hammer, nails to build a Saint Andrew’s Cross)
  • An input method for your laptop/phone/computer (for the VR headset)
  • A comment suggested a vacuum pump in addition! (Optional)

What you probably don’t have at home and have to buy

  • Peristaltic pump to supply lube
  • Time relay (to control lube supply over time)
  • Timer lock to keep you restrained

Price

Assuming you got a VR headset, the stroker and your laptop/phone/computer and basic tools, buying the remaining parts is cheap. I believe all this costs around $30-40 maximum.

Setup

  • Build lube supply: Connect the pump to the timer relay, feed the pump with your lube, test suitable intervals to supply drops of lube every couple minutes

  • Build your restraints: Figure out a way to tie yourself in a way, that restricts your movement to escape out of the restraint. You should not be able to move your hip, legs, upper body or arms

  • Add the timer lock to one arm restraint: When the time is up, you should be able to free your arm to free you.

This concludes the basic setup to restraint you. Onto content supply and control:

  • Chose a long, suitable video/script to consume through your VR headset

  • Install a script/program that can do the following: When you are about to finish, use your input device (remote control, phone, laptop at hands reach) to skip to the next “desired” time in your video (or play another script/video of your choice). This guarantees, you don’t finish at undesired times in the content (This is optional of course). I will probably eventually write little scripts/programs that can do all this. (You give it scripts/videos and points of time to skip to when needed. After playing that part it can jump back/continue playback, maybe you can setup multiple points in the video to loop through/play randomly, and more)

Safeguards

So this is an important one, and I probably don’t have the perfect idea. I don’t know which timer lock supports wifi/remote control, but it would be necessary to place a safeguard on it. For now I’ll move on with just safeguarding the handy and assume the lock works reliably (it should)

  • The safeguard must require a sacrifice. This prevents you from escaping deliberately. Chose something important you sacrifice. For example: A list of your favorite contents in a folder, if the safeguard is triggered, X amount will be deleted; Or, deleting an account on a site; Or sending an embarassing message or picture somewhere; Or calling someone for help. I’ll move on with the deletion of your favorite contents, since thats easy to do and can be setup up to your pain point. You will need: A script you can trigger with your input device once again. This script will stop the handy (via its API), or your wifi timer lock if you somehow find one online. However, it will also initiate the sacrifice. Deleting a random set of files, is easy. That said if you really have to escape, you can do the sacrifice

Building everything together

  1. Build your platform (Saint Andrew’s Cross should be easy to make, you can do something else too). Make sure its sturdy, you shouldnt be able to break out of it by brute force

  2. The stroker should be attached in a suitable way in your desired position

  3. Attach the lube supplier right above the stroker, in a way where it can supply lube via a tube. An open ended sleeve would be ideal, but if you want to you can also make a hole in your closed-end sleeve

  4. Setup the scripts, videos and your VR headset

  5. TEST everything, the stroker, lube supply, content playback, content control, the timer lock, and the safeguard (test run it without deleting anything). Also test, the platform is stable and you can not break out of it by brute force

  6. Now, start with restraining your legs, tights, and hips.

  7. Install the stroker and start content playback (You can add a delay to it, or start slowly)

  8. Ensure lube supply timer is set up correctly and works

  9. Put on your VR headset, make sure your input device is in reach

  10. Finally restraint your arms and enable the lock in your hands reach for the desired time

  11. Enjoy

Some considerations

  • The timer lock right now has no safeguard unless you can somehow script it, instead you can probably build one yourself. You’d need a relay, an arduino or similar and a lock mechanism module. This way you can script your own safeguard timer lock, not too difficult and also cheap, like $10-15. Alternatively I have seen approaches with using ice blocks that melt over time to release you, check online.
  • Even safeguards can fail (technical failure, losing your input device), in this case, your only hope would be external help (maybe someone will hear you), or brute force. However if you know you can escape through brute force it destroys the realism a little. You can for example build the restraints sturdy enough, so brute force would break it if thats your pain point. Your choice.
  • If you let someone else control your stroker, they can technically be your external help in case of emergency, albeit only remote (they can turn of stuff or call help if really needed)
  • You need to do minor wiring, e.g. power supply (phone cable works) and taping / attaching things together

Bonus

Someone suggested attaching a pump to the sleeve. This would keep you inside the sleeve even if flacid. You need to attach a vacuum pump, to a closed-end sleeve. Some pumps are strong (80kpa), what you want is something around 25kpa (thats what most vacuum pumps for this purpose have). Supply of lube can occur through the same tubing, just make sure, it doesn’t cloak the tube, othewise the pump will suck it before it reaches the sleeve. You can use a needle to create a hole in the tube to reduce pressure.

You will need something like this:

…nice summary, but you kinda glossed the most important bit, which is the timer lock. If you wanna go full on ultimate restraint, i’d suggest a mains powered mag lock, like wot people secure doors with. Then use two or three mechanical timers in series to cut the power at the appropriate time, and you can pretty much use your imagination at that point to design wtvr scenario u want. Mag is great because you can stretch up to it, and it grabs you in, so with forethought you can get quite a restrictive setup. Using a series of mechanical timers means if one is set wrong / broken, you have others to kick in. And using mains mag means if there’s a power cut it releases immediately as well.

You can also use a proper ice lock, very safe because it will always open eventually, but a pain in the butt, cos you need to work out tensioning, and it does dribble cold water down your arm, or wtvr, which can be offputting.

I’d stay well away from the cheap timer locks, i’ve heard some horror stories of them not opening, or getting snagged on themselves. That’s why i suggest mains mag and mech timers, it’s got redundancy in spades. i just can’t bring myself to trust anything i don’t know is gonna open, 100%.

Lots of practise, lots of time to fine tune your set-up, it’s all good, builds anticipation. Cos if you fuck up, you really fuck up, worst case scenario is actually earning a Darwin award, so it goes without saying, test, test, and test again. And have back up. Maybe arrange a visit from a mate with a key the next morning, if you’re going for a fully unbreakable scenario? Embarrassing, but better than the unthinkable.

You can also go for safety scissors to hand (on a rope, so you can’t lose them), with appropriate bindings. Again, tricky to use, so you’re not gonna just ‘bust out’ on a whim (you gotta pull that rope up one-handed), but good to have multiple points of failure covered.

Peristaltic pump is an excellent idea or the lube, btw. ilike suction devices myself, so i don’t have to worry about going soft and / or slipping out accidentally, but you do need to consider whether you can rely on biology alone to keep you presented correctly to the machine. i’m a bit old, so i have to think of these things! xD Don’t wanna slip out with a stroker, and get into difficulties, you can’t reach down for adjustments.

Great fun though, best of luck, enjoy…x

Edit

So, I think I can see how a suction system would work. With the cheap-ass I am, Finding vacuum pumps online is dirt cheap ($20). For example Vn-c1 12v/24v Einkopf-dc-vakuumpumpe Kleine Unterdruck Pumpe - Buy Small Dc Vacuum Pump support Customized Wholesale And Retail high Efficient Low Noise Dc Vacuum Pump Product on Alibaba.com.

You probably can DIY one and attach it to your closed and sleeve easily like that. With a timer based relay you can also control the sucktion frequency and a t-valve to let air out on the downwards stroke!

Thank you for the follow-up! I will incorporate it to OP!

I am trying to keep everythig cheap. Unfortunately mag lock is not cheap, which is why I intentionally did not suggest it. Traditional timer based locks should not fail at all anyways, you just need one. The key is to have safeguards, more than one is suggested, as long as they are guarded by sacrifices.

Yes! This was also what I considered in my post. You can probably use a sock or something and tie a knot that only releases when the ice melts, its a bit messier but free and could also work quite well.

That sounds important. Could you link some of those reports. I think it is important to attach them to the post, due to their relevancy. I don’t think timer locks should be unsafe. They probably internally operate similarly to mag locks, basically once power is lost, they open up. Once again, failsafes should be in place, ultimately, last resort, you gotta call a buddy (or ambulance).

Absolutely! I don’t like to stress this too much, because it does really sound scarry and cumbersome to be 100% safe. Anything can go wrong, fire, a plane could hit your home. That said, setup failsafes. For the lock I’d say, setting up a sacrifice works, for a technical failure, you’d need other assistance, e.g. calling a friend or similar (Hands free possibilites exist like Google Assistant or Siri, or scheduled messages, and so on).

This breaks immersion. You should not be able to free yourself without sacrifice at all times. Getting embarassed is an ultimate sacrifice if technical failure is in place, otherwise the proposed sacrifice works.

I think too! Assembling them can get finniky, but I think with wood, hammer and nails you can build yourself a nice setup! I am wondering, how do you integrate a suction device next to a stroker? (I checked your profile, found my answer! How to Hack a 'Suck-O-Mat 2' (EU) or 'Hummer 2.0' (US) to give Full Controllable Suction for your Handy) After all the stroker is probably the one element you do not want to miss out. Accidentally slipping out would be fatal, you shouldn’t be able to escape after all, if it happens, it happens I guess.

I added a new bonus section with a DIY pump setup! Should be no more than +20 bucks

…you could certainly make an SoM style machine quite easily, i imagine, especially if you’re happy to have it running at a single speed. As long as it’s all tested before you strap yourself down, it’s all good. The biggest single issue with the SoM isn’t the pump, that’s easy, it’s the sleeve / stroker combo, you need to find a sleeve that’s quite resilient to pressure change (solid) whilst still contacting your cock (or no feels, hence the nubs). or maybe i’m just overthinking it, and all you need is a simple pump to draw the air out, and that’s it, and just let your stroker do the work after.

i hear you about the immersion breaking, as long as you do have a friend or someone you can definitely trust to call around after, then yea, get mummified! Just please be careful…x

i haven’t got any cite for the ‘lock stuck, send help!’ i saw, but it stuck in my brain, cos i’d literally bought one of them recently, at that point. It was one of these things:

i think the wire had got stuck in the plastic housing, and poor chap hadn’t been able to free themselves.

If you’re doing a homemade ice-lock, make sure u don’t end up with a wet sock getting stuck somewhere, in the same way. Maybe something with a pair of different sized pipes inside each other, that come apart when the ice melts, there are numerous designs online. Again, as long as you test it first, all good.

Yeah, Mag is expensive, but Mag is love, Mag is life…

I did this a few years ago. I always struggled to get my keon to work, even with the auto blow to keep the pressure up. To keep me inside when I was flaccid, and it was just so difficult to get right. I went ahead and bought the Nimble Stroker because it has anti-slip-off. So you could fully come inside that thing, and it was going to stay on no matter what. I used the Mag Bound magnet to keep me locked in until the timer finished. Honestly, I would have to try and break out because it would get so sensitive. I couldn’t last more than 30 seconds even when I was restrained, it was so intense. But this is one of my favourite setups.

I never tried these strokers but I feel like they’re not nearly as good as say the handy. The handy delivers real and full strokes, alternatives like nible just look like they are taking an attempt at stroking. Sometimes when I come across posts suggesting these alternatives I feel like they are advertisements and not real reviews

…nah, nimblestroker is a Venus 2000 type device, it’s a proper sucking fucking machine, far advanced from the Suk-o-Mat. Not that i’ve used one, but the main complaint I’ve read seems to be about trying to integrate it for scripts, as a device it seems pretty well-designed, it works, it sucks, it does what it’s supposed to.

But you’re talking a $1000 price tag for a Nimble. If you wanna spend stupid money, you could get a Tremblr + Mod board from maustech and combine it with an EoM, or go Serious Kit or wtvr. But that’s $2k’s worth of tech, different ballpark, etc…

Haha, trust me, the NimbleStroker is 100x better than the Handy and it’s not even close.

How come? The sleeve is smooth so there’s not even the stimulation compared to sleeve used in the handy, neither can you do controlled precise strokes or properly sync to videos. Depending the circumstances it might also slip away and you need a very specific setup to be able to use it as well. I am still calling everyone who recommends it without giving actual points like here plain advertisers or paid actors.

You can get the ribbed version of the nimblestroker, its not just smooth.

That’s it - no other selling point…

tbh I don’t own one, just stating a fact. not trying to claim anything. selling point is probably that is stays on with the rubber ring, but still extremely expensive for something that simple.
