Not true in my experience. I’ve paid for some scripts that were absolute dog shit (patreon + gumroad). Realsync and SLR (handcrafted) do a better job with QC.

Haha I certainly hit the jackpot then with the ones I brought. I rarely see any bad feedback in those paid topics so there is that too.
Hit or miss mostly
I basically avoid every post already that has scripts with patreons for over 15 euros , sometimes in the high 20 euros. Just too expensive to even take a look.
Oh, and what is also a no go for me is over the top ads with too many emojis or some cringe text, thats just a turn off…
That being said, some scripts from erobianmate for example are pretty good.
Some scripters do filler actions, some do not, might want to keep an eye out for that 
I personally decided that my scripts will never go behind a paywall no matter what, but i rarely script so there is that
