BeaB's funscripts, how do you like them?

Hi. As you know, I created Patreon. The method I was advised has been in process for 17 days now. I can’t exactly guarantee that it will ever work. I can’t withdraw money from Patreon right now. If I can withdraw in the future I will continue to make scripts regularly, if not I will probably make 1-2 scripts a month when I am free from work. Thank you to those who supported me. I’m sorry about the way things turned out. For now I’ll probably do scripts until mid-February, then we’ll see.

Anyway, I wanted to ask you about this.
As you know I’ve been trying to fix something in my scripts for the last month. I’ve done a lot of scripts. I’ve done surveys. Some people gave the worst ratings to my scripts. If you do that please write what you didn’t like otherwise I can’t fix it.
But I couldn’t figure it out. I just keep coming to the conclusion that I’m doing shit, but I don’t even understand what needs to be fixed. Sorry, you don’t have to write “I like it.” I’m looking at the numbers of views and likes. My numbers are the worst of anyone who does scripts regularly.
I apologize immediately for the comparison.

Analytics

Analytics is not very correct because there are authors here who made paid scripts, and they always get few likes.

They show that my scripts are not interesting to most people. If you are one of such people, please write why you don’t put likes, why you don’t like my scripts. This is the last question I ask you to answer. I’m sorry.
I made the poll anonymous, so you can answer honestly.

What am I doing wrong?
  • Your scripts are of poor quality. (answer below what it is, please)
  • The videos you choose for your scripts are uninteresting.
  • The first two together.
  • Your post design is poor.
  • You’re kind of a weird person.

Your scripts are of poor quality.
  • Too much vibration.
  • Bad timings.
  • Poor pitch.
  • Don’t repeat what happens in the video.
  • Handy stutters with your scripts.
0 voters

Thank you to the people who support me. I’m sorry if I’m being weird again. It’s just that I spend almost all my free time after work on these scripts. I try to test each one to make sure it doesn’t stutter. I don’t have the energy after work to just use Handy for my own pleasure. I’ve used it probably 10-15 times in all the time I’ve been making scripts. Okay if I don’t get paid for the scripts I don’t have a big problem with money. But I don’t even get people’s interest in my work. I’m sorry to dump my problems on you again.
Thanks again to the people who support me.

If there’s anything else to add, be honest. I won’t take offense.

Instead of looking at it like your scripts are either bad or good, another factor to consider is, are your videos interesting for a broader amount of people, or not?

For example, many people don’t like the MMD Animation/Rending style, so they may click on the post but not download it. But that doesn’t mean you are wrong in making those scripts.
I know you don’t always do MMD Scripts.

I personally think your scripts are great. But many of the videos aren’t to my preference, so I don’t download too many and don’t like many of your posts.
Does that mean it is bad because of it? No, of course not.

I am not sure how many people actually use the like button to show how much they liked the script. Many (including myself) use it to either thank the scripter and uploader for the effort, or to keep track of what they have already downloaded.

Wanting to improve and getting feedback is great, but getting stuck on it, because the numbers aren’t as good, as they could be isn’t helpful in my opinion.

Another thing to look at it. There are people willing to pay for your scripts. That would imply that those people in particular love them and are even willing to spend money to get them, or support you to continue making them.

Thank you for your reply. The thing is that I look mostly at the stats of similar videos from the same author. For example

And they’re not very good for my scripts.
So I think I’m doing something wrong. But I don’t know what.(•ิ_•ิ)?

There’s branding and scripter legacy. If a user sees a script for a video they like, they might download it for later but not return to give feedback or leave a like once they’ve evaluated its quality.

If that same script is posted by scripter with recognizable branding and good track record, users might be more likely to already assume the script is phenomenal and as such being interested in the video and knowing the scripter is enough to leave a like.

Branding, repute and luck could be the major factors.
(Editing to add that your pfp is somewhat generic, which is not great for branding.)

Personally, I’ve liked 18 of your scripts which puts you in my top 5 scripters. I usually don’t have much to say about the scripts themselves, they’re simply well made.

Your choice of videos to script are often what I dismiss as somewhat uninspired animations (relative to my ridiculous standards), with a decent amount of interesting ones and some occasional masterpieces.

I like your post design and the way you provide a variety of video links.

My comment may be extremely unhelpful because it’s very subjective, but personally I feel like your scripts are kinda all over the place. Just for context, I don’t script, so I’m not familiar with everything that goes into the scripting work.

Like Rosethorn commented, there are scripters with recognizable branding and for some it shows on the style of their scripts. For some scripters, I know what to expect in terms of detail, over-exagerations, vibrations, highlights, how faithful to the video it will be and other characteristics even before downloading the script, but I don’t really know what to expect when I download your scripts. Overall, I think your scripts are good, but I don’t feel like they have a particular “BeaB style” to make them a distinct kind/brand.

I’m sorry if my comment sounds weird or even offensive, that’s not the intention. This really is more like a feeling of mine instead of being something more concrete.

I used to be a huge fan of MMDs and a hoarder of it, though many of it don’t really appeal to me anymore. I can’t be bothered with another dance-fuck / HMV-styled scene that looks like it’s mass-produced off existing motion data. ブラン is an author that I usually avoid for this reason.

I enjoyed your BB video though. It’s been carefully touched up to be sexy and not just a simple model swap, and I appreciated those details in MMDs ;p

Another reason might be that I have switched from the Handy + mild sleeves to powerhorses like the SR6 and thicc onaholes. Each stroke adds a chunk to my cum meter so I can no longer last a 5-min dance-fuck scene where I am stroked even by the song (180bpm btw).

Thank you for your reply. I’ve been experimenting with script style for the last month. Before that, I did them about the same way. It sounds weird, but I’ve been trying to do them in the same style. I’ll see if I can figure out what the problem might be. Thanks.

Never tried your scripts (yet), but I wish your scripts are multi-axis. Can’t go back after SR6.

I had the idea of doing multi-axis scripts. For that I need to buy an SR6. Since there are problems with withdrawing from Patreon. I don’t have extra money. You can try this single multi-axis script I made if you’re interested.

I’m glad you like my MMDs but I don’t think I’ll be making any more. Maybe if Patreon works. The BB video took me maybe 13 days of vacation. About 70 hours. Of course I remembered how to make MMDs after the break. So the new MMDs came out with other people’s motions. I don’t have the motivation to do something like that again. And it won’t get likes and views again.
I think Iwara changed a lot because of Koikatsu. I’ve been registered there since 2016. It’s just a shame for other authors who spend tons of time on videos like This. As the author, I understand that he spent 60 to 100 hours of work on this. At the same time Koikatsu made in 5-10 hours gains the same number of likes and views in days. They do NTR just because you don’t have to change male models in the scenes. There are good Koikatsu authors, but not many. It’s sad that a lot of good MMD authors are gone. Just my thoughts, hope I didn’t offend anyone.

  • Boring videos? Maybe. Have you tried just good animations? Try a random short by LazyProcrastinator, just to check the case. If he still has something unscripted lol
  • Multi-axis? Maybe. Multi-axis would go VERY well with MMDs as they are multiaxis-heavy, but there are what, 15%? Well, that’s old numbers we gonna need a 2025 poll for that. Still, those who have it generally pick out all of the multiaxis first before even going to see linear ones.
  • Your post design is dunno
  • You’re kind of a weird person? Well, maybe. First thing, personally your avatar doesn’t seem recognizable for me. There are what, Slime, Cookie, Ahegao, and mr. Dracula (wait who even is that).
  • 10-40% difference may be obviously set to recognition. The search order is generally: most likes > preferred tags > recognizable authors > the rest

I appreciate that you are asking for feedback.

Bear in mind that not everyone clicks “like” or makes a comment about content on posts. I also don’t script myself, but a better metric of determining popularity would be the actual number of clicks to download the scripts. (That being said, I can see the number of clicks made on links in comments, but I don’t see the same info in the main post.)

I personally don’t have a lot to say about your videos or scripting style because I explicitly filter out MMD and HERO type tags. On rare occasion I’ll do a search for the POV tag, and searching for a specific tag will show me filtered out tags for that search.

I also don’t typically pay for scripts that are sold on any platforms other than Patreon. Gumroad and payhip links are an automatic decline for me.

I didn’t understand half of it, but it sounds interesting thanks. I’m definitely not changing my avatar. Sorry. Utaha is the best girl.(>ᴗ•)

This^
I consider MMD and Hero videos, erm, a fast-food? A fast-food tick-tock name-other-crap
Not the thing I come for, barely the thing I go for if there’s nothing better and I don’t want much

That look positively dangerous…

Personally I almost always download your scripts, in fact you might be one of the people who I am most likely to download from.

Sometimes your posts are a bit of a hassle to deal with, I used to try to track down the high quality versions of the vids from peoples patreons but recently I have just been downloading the zip and calling it good.

Edit: Also maybe I’m just a bit of a beab fan but I certainly recognize the avatar.

Thanks. I will give a try in these few days. I know making scripts take a long while, but 70 hrs sounds crazy to me.

I don’t know if it is just me or not. I don’t think the precision between the movement in the video and the SR6 movement is that important for me. I don’t care if the angle or distance not match well between SR6 and the video, even 50% off is fine for me, as long as the stroking timing match.

If you have to spend lots of time to match the movement in the video and the SR6/script’s movement, I would rather you save more time or make more scripts or lower the price. I hope creators have a easier time. May be POV is not for me, more into PMV. Just personal opinion.

I think your scripts are great, whenever i see it’s one you made i know the quality is high. When i usually browse though it’s the videos that attract me, not neccesary the creator so if a video doesnt appeal to me i would just pass it even if its made by a good scripter.

i agree , kk is ruined iwara , as for me , i like video you choose , I rarely watch real people videos or Western-style 2D/3D animations. I’m only interested in Japanese-style anime, so I don’t create scripts for those other categories either. I make these purely out of personal interest, not for monetary gain, which is why I don’t feel the same pressure as you do. Though I might consider opening a Patreon someday, haha. Regarding your issue, I agree with the earlier comment - your personal style isn’t distinct enough. Since most of your videos follow similar patterns with repetitive fast-paced movements, they tend to feel monotonous over time. This isn’t just your problem; I think all creators who made a large number of script is face this. I download all your works but usually treat them as snacks rather than main courses, unless I particularly love one. As for “likes,” I’ve never considered them a quality indicator - they’re heavily influenced by posting frequency and follower count. As a heavy user, I download all your scripts, yet rarely grab the top-liked ones. My favorite creator is falafel - his video choices align with my taste, and his execution is incredibly polished with meticulous details. He’s the one I initially tried to imitate, though I never quite mastered his essence and ended up developing my own style instead. Your recent script revisions show clear improvement - progress is always good! That said, relying on this as a main income source seems tough. You might have to compromise by creating scripts for popular-but-uninteresting content, like kk on Iwara does. Personally, I could never accept that approach, which is why I haven’t launched a Patreon yet… though who knows about the future?

AI translate , i hope you can understand it

As a script user and not a creator, I agree with the sentiment that your scripts are good!

I think your issue mostly is that you do almost exclusively MMD dance-sex videos. I hate to say it, but for the majority of them, once you’ve watched 2-3 of them they all start to feel incredibly similar and get boring very quickly, at least for me. If you found some videos that weren’t dance-sex and scripted those I think you’d have a very good shot!

The other thing I notice is that you seem to be… a bit obsessive over your analytics. I think that’s creeping into the tone of your posts and it probably does drive some people away. I do understand wanting your content to do well, but in my opinion, paying a little less attention to the analytics might be a decent idea.

Ultimately, you should do what you WANT to do, and the opinions of others should be secondary.
