Old sales post

I can work out some mounting setup or use an existing one… that I can figure out. What I’m more concerned with is will I be able to continue using it A) Wirelessly like I do with the Handy (I have a computer - well several – but none of them are in my bedroom) and B) Using the VR apps mentioned rather than having to connect my Quest to my PC and use something like Script player

Basically its the Player → Device flow for the funscript that I am trying to understand.
If I have to go through some convoluted process something like

  1. Download video and funscript to my PC
  2. Attach Quest 2 to the PC with cable
  3. Setup Script Player to launch in Quest… somehow
  4. Watch tethered to the PC using ScriptPlayer

Then honestly it just wouldn’t seem worth it to me as the Handy is already pretty good. I DO want to mess around with this newer device and try scripting some with the extra axes, but just not so much if it means tethering myself to the PC and having to use very specific programs to run and/or view the videos. 99% of the porn I watch is in VR in the first place which makes watching it on other devices/in other apps difficult to say the least.

yes it’s possible. it’s just a bit more of an involved process that requires some savvy that will turn away most folks.

you’ll need a custom firmware for the osr that lets it interface with your pc over wifi.

you’ll need the multifunplayer software running on the pc configured to follow the timecode from the video app on the quest 2. deovr and heresphere q2 app can do this as well as their pc version counterparts.

you’ll need to know a bit about navigating your router control panel to look up the IP addresses of your q2 and OSR to configure things correctly.

unless you’re streaming from a gaming computer to your Q2 wirelessly and can see the PC desktop inside your HMD, you’ll want a laptop besides you to make adjustments (sync latency, stroke length, other things) to the MFP app.

So Deo/Heresphere can’t natively stream the funscript to the device, but they would instead stream the funscript to MFP (presumably from the player’s POV it thinks it is going to say a Handy or something) and then MFP would stream it to the device?

correct. there is no use of an OSR independent of a PC that i’m aware.

Thanks @comrade420

There is a way to make the SR series wifi enabled, but it would still require a pc.

The benefit is just needing to plug in the PSU for the OSR.

@penti
Hello
I just installed the new servomotor. (A86BHMW)
Sounds point of view, it’s the same thing as the A73CHLW. it’s the same.
The servomotor is more precise, more flexible.
Please note: it is larger in the length (29.9 mm). I sanded the plastic support of the ES32 to bring it into the box.

@M0SAIC any idea when order placed on August 26 will ship?

Your order is shipping tomorrow, thank you for your patience.

The last month has been a bit of a nightmare:

Mother in Law had surgery requiring more time assisting her

The AC in my workshop died in electric storm resulting in:

High Humidity making printing basically impossible

Unworkable conditions, I live in Florida

Help in the workshop has been unavailable.

Sales have decreased. This one has slowed down the supply of parts in the workshop.

I am looking at this as a perfect storm and it is just breaking, almost. The replacement control board for the AC that was on back order arrived and I installed it successfully on Saturday. Today the DC fan was next to die. So I am back to working in the house and I am working as fast as I can.

I was down to about a 2 week Turn around Time when the AC died and since then it has been climbing.

Thank you all again for your support and patience.

Hope you’re doing well!

I emailed you about my order where it seems the power supply is missing?

Am I able to buy the power supply on my own?

I have tried my best to notify everyone but a few orders always manage to slip through the cracks.

I had an order of PSUs arrive with a large number of them being defective at the male connector end. I did not catch this as I had ordered a sample of them (10) from the vendor. The first 10 were fine so I shipped out the new (bulk order) batch out to customers without any checks.

Once I started getting info from customers that the batch was bad I ordered more immediately, emailed customers, and withheld the PSU. I will drop a link here regarding the recommended PSU. Sorry for any inconvenience.

I will also Dm you a link.

Hey @M0SAIC, I’m interested to buy a lube dispenser upgrade, but I already have a 3D printer and more filaments than I’ll ever need.

Any chance you could add an “Electronic Kit for the i-Lube” to your catalog?

Also, since you also support SR6, I’m guessing your upgrade is compatible with an OSR2 with an ESP32. In the documentation that I found, on IsaacNewtongue’s patreon, I only see references to the Romeo Mini BLE.

I can add the kit, no problem.

You will need to solder to complete the build. In case you were not aware.

That’s fine. As long as it’s basic soldering since my soldering experience is pretty limited. And I have access to some documentation on what to do.

Hey man
So I’m in the market for a top shelf device after my original launch kick the bucket
. I was considering the kiro since I’ll be able to use my sleeves . I also tried to see if the universal launch could have a Bluetooth rigged to it however, I truly wanted to get the osrt+ twist however, I’m just curious if I were to buy a direct from the site completely built is there any kind of warranty whatsoever?

I stand by my builds. If there a problem I resolve it.

To date I have not had a single unit returned.

Should a build have damage during shipping I send replacement plastics for the cost of shipping.

If a build doesn’t work as expected on arrival I will TS the build and will exchange units as needed. Over the course of ~600 sales I have had to exchange maybe 5 units.
