I work at SLR and just wanted to drop something on your radar.
If you’re already making scripts, there’s a pretty solid opportunity right now. VR has been strong for a while, but flat content is starting to pick up big time on our end — and barely anyone’s scripting it yet. Feels like a great time to get in early and build something.
Not trying to pitch hard here, just being real — some of the top scripters on SLR are making serious money. I can’t share exact numbers, but it’s great money.
If you already have scripts, you can just upload and start earning:
And yeah, you get 30 days of SLR Premium after your last script upload if you’re actively creating.
If you’ve got any questions, feel free to reply here or hit up scripts@sexlikereal.com
Figured some of you might want to hear about it. Do what you want with it
You’d have to apply that to all paid script content creators though. The fact that SLR is a bigger company doesn’t really make it any different, they just have more content.
So if we’re in America, we can only get paid out every time it reaches 500 dollars, since you only offer two options for pay out and the other one is Paxum?
I once tried going through this process out of curiosity. They took something like over a month to reply and the terms are not favourable to you. Typical techbro platform stuff. I’m not telling anyone how to distribute your scripts but I would urge a throurough due diligence before you make a deal with this particular devil.
Also if you want to script to them and not have a company, their compensation is a “free” premium SLR subscription. Which is nowadays worth nothing since they keep lowering the value proposition of it.
As stated above, this is quite misleading. You acquire scripts through a business-to-business partnership; you’re not hiring script creators.
A person who already has scripts can’t “just upload and start earning”, that only applies to registered businesses.
“Just register as a business if you’re not already one, upload and start earning” would be a more responsible statement to make as a representative. Can’t be foregoing honesty to sound like a more attractive opportunity.
SLR obtains a script license directly from the video makers, allowing SLR-affiliated script creators to produce and distribute scripts on the SLR platform. That permission doesn’t extend beyond our site.
You’re correct that our current payment structure requires script creators to register as a legal business entity in order to earn from their scripts. Right now, individuals (i.e., natural persons) who don’t have a registered business can still upload scripts and share them for free, but they won’t receive direct payments yet.
We’re exploring ways to offer a fair compensation model for individual creators as well.
In the meantime, you’ll receive SLR Premium access, and we hope to provide you with our upcoming SLR Melody sex toy as well.
License. Developer hereby grants Operator a nonexclusive, royalty-free, irrevocable, perpetual, non-cancelable, sub-licensable right and license to use each Script that Developer provides Operator for the purpose of (a) making available such Scripts on the Website, including, without limitation, the right to publish, display, modify, sell and create derivative works as may be necessary or reasonably desirable to accomplish the same, and (b) for research, development, and training purposes.
This Clause was modified from the previous as this was removed:
This clause violated most favored nation doctrine.
This was also present but seems to have been removed:
This is a direct violation of a derivative copyright.
Seeing as these appear to no longer be there, I guess my point isn’t relevant at the moment.
Can’t speak for it will remain that way.
will check additionally but it shouldn’t be a problem for anyone. just legal wording. you better don’t check Youtube, Apple, Gmail, Pornhub or any other. SLR has a strong business culture treating partners well and not getting into legal fights until obviously provoked.
I appreciate the acknowledgement. It’s an unfortunate mistake made by the representative to have misrepresented the nature of this earnings opportunity.
Personally I have very little interest in the contents provided by SLR Premium, and would probably not have any use for the upcoming stroker toy.
What’s wrong with the neural networks that write the scripts for SLR? Or do you need “live” scriptwriters to train models for flat videos?
About earning money on scripts with this employer, you either need to be there constantly at work - all 40 hours a week or more to really get some less serious money and every scriptwriter realizes that this job is so-so.
I liked the lack of “special conditions” for some unique things, as an example, which I did - my single-axis scripts contain 1.5-2 times more points (I think will be cool to play on SLR device), because they are initially prepared for multi-axis + multi-axis scripts take a huge amount of time, if you do them well.
I don’t think its that bad I have earned over $200 dollars over 30 days from 4 scripts, probably more than I would have earned selling them on here, it only works out at $1 a sale but the money you get from premium users adds up, don’t understand why I have to register for vat though when I don’t earn enough to need to…
Both videos of those toys are super ass at slow movements, which most times isn’t insanely important but many times can make or break the immersion and leave you wanting. This is why I am so thrilled with the OSR2+ (with quality servos). I’m not a paid advertiser haha, it’s just been mind blowing in making the scripts truly shine, especially when the scrips are made with that in mind. That’s just accounting for single-axis. Don’t even get me started on multi-axis, it’s killer.
That being said, the handy works well enough in slowish to medium-fast situations but I’m afraid the SLR toy will suffer from a lot of the same drawbacks. The upside is that it will probably be decently durable if you take care of it. Which leads me to…
The drawback (and benefit) of the OSR2+ is that it’s a hobbyist toy. Meaning that it’s not super durable and you can actually, and will eventually have to, fix it yourself. That can be nice but it can also be a huge pain.
