Today I tried to view a video on a local directory with my Oculus Rift and found that it freezes on a dark screen with a menu that don’t work at all. Different player control than before.
On reddit they say it broke with latest upgrade. Boy do they have an opinion about the DeoVR quality control, mostly lack thereof.
Where do you find the revision level in DeoVR?
Is this going to be fixed soon?
After reading many threads on several sites I found the following that seems to work!
MY FIX:
The opening screen must have an internet site address that you are signed into (or a site don’t need to log in.)
After that you can watch local files again!
Is deovr even available for iPhone anymore?
