This might sound nuts but how about a tv trolly securing the handy with simple camera screws and photography cheese plates to make an L bracket. You can use wheel bracks or step on the stand/legs, adjust height and tilt angle and can use in bed too - though may need to swing a rachet strap around bed from under and tighten down to a secure enough level of slack to wedge yourself under the handy2 secured to the tv trolley - the rachet strap pulls the vertical beam/neck of the tv trolley down toward bed and you.
I’ve tried, but you would really need to get something custom if you want a truly stable hold.
Look up Edmund’s universal arts and crafts stand.
Mr. Dan (DanScripts) is making a fixed arm for TheHandy2.
It’s convenient because it can use TILTA’s ARRI rosette arm.
I found what I consider to be an (almost) perfect way to mount the Handy2 to my body, so I’m sharing it here.
What you need
- Camera Waist Belt Mount Holder
- Handy2 to ARRI Rosette Attachment by Mr. Dan (DanScripts)
The biggest discovery this time was that the Camera Waist Belt Mount Holder I bought happened to be compatible with the ARRI Rosette standard.
I’ve tried several ways of mounting the Handy2 before, but the more arms and joints I added, the more misalignment occurred, which hurt stability.
And since I wanted a simple, body-mounted setup, fixing it at the waist made the most sense to me. Achieving this with so few parts is ideal.
With this, you can finally bring to life those setups you often see in sci-fi!

Enjoy your Handy2 life!
Is it possible to buy the Handy2 to ARRI Rosette Attachment outside of Japan?
I did a quick check but couldn’t find the answer.
It looks like the shop I mentioned uses a system where the seller ships the item directly, so
I think it’s best to ask Mr. Dan whether he handles international shipping!
Hey how can i make it myself
Been wanting to post for awhile my setup for the Handy as it is presently and I have no inclination to change it [as of this moment] as it works great for me!. Someone posted ages ago a Lab clamp thing with a heavy solid metal base. It was what I was after, something to put between my legs, whilst laid / seated on my bed. The clamp thing was cheap as well, although price has gone up slightly since then.
The cold metal was a problem and somewhere over time the fleece sock thing has stayed on to protect skin from the cold metal, so that is no longer a problem. I just place it between my legs and tie loosely the bathrobe to my legs. It will stay upright without the robe, as the Handy moves up and down, the robe ties just stop it from moving too much and keep it in place ‘better’ when things are getting fast and furious…
The camera mount top part which connects to the Handy Handsfree cup is a totally jerry-rigged mess but keeps the top of the Handy solid, doesn’t move at all, and ok, it looks janky, it works tho, if I could change one bit of my set-up this would be it, make it more streamlined, so far not found a way to do that though.
A velcro strap wrapped around the Lab clamp connects to a Trilancer strap which I can strap my balls into which holds my balls up and away from me, I enjoy ballplay as I get closer to orgasm and this pulls on my balls more and slows that process of the balls naturally wanting to tighten -, great for edging! I usually have other stuff going on around my balls also but I won’t be posting my sleeves / what else I use to get me off! etc. Not having my balls hanging down also means I can use my Lovense edge2 easier if I am wanting some vibrating buttplay in the mix.
Power cable to the Handy just drapes over the top, does not get in the way whilst using.
I can set all this up super quick when in the mood, including VR headset etc and then when done, I can put it all away super quick, clean up, lube Handy if it needs it, take the Handy off and put it away or just leave it on. I tend to have odd bits of stuff in my room anyway so anyone seeing it would not at first get what it was for, if the Handy wasn’t connected to it.
Pretty much it. It works in pretty much the same way the upside down Ikea seat idea / setup does where it goes between your legs, although you don’t have to sit on it to keep it stable. ![]()
Forgot to mention - I have great adjustability of the Handy, whilst in it.
Also if you wanted to take the clamp all apart, its a solid metal base stand, a metal rod which unscrews from the base stand and then the clamp bits just attach / unattach from the rod.
I just got a stanley vice and i’m kinda afraid to use the handy just on it, feels like it could damage it from the pressure… is there something you can buy that works like the official cup? i see someone posted about a pvc pipe bracket, but can’t find one that looks like it. I could always try 3d printing but in my experience my prints end up too brittle
Not sure if this would be something you’d find useful, but this is what I’ve been using with the stanley vice. Printed from PETG and has held up just fine stanley thehandy vice jaws by StormVoyage - Thingiverse
are there any cup holders or something similar that works well with the handy and the stanley vice? i dont have a 3d printer unfortunately
The Handy2 is so much better for handsfree straps and stuff. You can just use a regular click-adjustable pants belt, pretty much, and add a towel or something for some padding and spacing, and strap the Handy2 onto yourself.
It doesn’t have the smooth round end, but rather has a grippy silicone blunt end. Makes it very easy even without 3rd party gadgets or 3d printables.
I second this. Got mine back in december, no issues at all and very stable. I do however have limited experience with handsfree, but i honestly can’t see any fault with this one so far
It seems we can buy it on ZenMarket.
