new version is up. let me know it fix the issues
Happy to see these features finally implemented.
Needing to re-send a pause after every new play command was annoying. Having the preview window always on top is great for recording.
Donât even remember if I requested that at some point, or you just read my mind.
Also, an official version number?!

I think a bit of this and that. LOL, I thought about the âpause until resumedâ feature after seeing how you implemented it in Succubus Farm. I believe that functionality should be native in EDI. In fact, I plan to make the âuntil resumeâ and âat current timeâ options the default behavior for the endpoints at some point. Now you can pause and let the game run until you choose to resume the current playback
Yes, also an official version!
Iâve been trying to get EDI to work for the game mod made for The Neighbors Wife 2. The winhttp.dll (which I assume is essential to getting EDI to work with the game), causes EDI to not launch. The game starts fine and if I remove the winhttp.dll EDI launches but obviously doesnât communicate with the game. EDI can connect to Intiface and can find the gallery. Iâm gonna assume the winhttp.dll file is the culprit, any advice on what I should do from here?

I donât know your case well, but it seems that your problem isnât exactly with EDI, but with how the game behaves when adding the HTTP DLL. If the game is made in C# Unity, I get the impression that you should have native tools to make HTTP requests, so as I understand it, EDI would be workingâwhatâs failing is the mod?
If EDI is the one that doesnât start, try putting EDI in a different folder from where the HTTP DLLs are.
The game uses BepInEX. I was able to get it to launch properly once I grabbed the latest files. Looks like BepInEX was the culprit. EDI launches and launches the game now but it doesnât react to the game and I no longer see the overlay indicating that EDI is active.
Sound like the plugin is not loading. If you replaced the BepInEx files, make sure the mod is still present in \BepInEx\plugins, otherwise you can dowload the standalone files and place them in the game folder.
Same problem here. dont know what to do
I spent a whole day on it; my problem was caused by version and model issues. Google might have the solution you need.
How can you connect EDI to an OSR2? Is there a guide somewhere that already exists that I havenât found that someone could point me to?
you have to select the Port (COM port) or you can go to UserConfig.json in appData/Edi Folder and select UDP protocol and URL
The serial that I usually use is COM3 and that is what I have set in the edi settings now. In the UserConfig.json in appdata/local/edi I set multiaxis to true and the COM port is also set to âCOM3â
Do I need to set the UdpAddress to something other than null?
Nope, you only need the UDP address if youâre trying to connect to the device over Wi-Fi and not through USB.
If I have the settings set the same way you are showing in the screenshots and I donât see the device appear in EDI, what should I troubleshoot? my OSR2 works fine with multifunplayer and that is all I really use it for. Do I need buttplug or intiface or something else running for this to work?
Hmm, Iâm not sure what to tell you. I only have an OS1 and it works fine. Iâve heard of other people having issues that were fixed by updating to the latest firmware version.
Did you just receive it (Possibly buy it from G90ak)? If so, you will need to update the firmware.
believe you need the version described as the âapp host versionâ in that window. mine said version 8.0.0 and installing that let it launch. 8.0.21 is on this list Download .NET 8.0 (Linux, macOS, and Windows) | .NET
Link to the mega folder doesnt seem to work anymore.
Is the âUpdateRateâ: section for OSR of the EdiConfig.json in ms, hz, or some other value?
