Hey @dimnogro Could i get some help please? I used to be able to use EDI on toast games but for some reason, every time I launch EDI now the, it crashed when I try to click the ready icon

Im using the latest version of Khrulls firmware and have tried using the edited version of EDI for Khrulls firmware for use.

It doesnt seem to be generating logs for me as well to reference

I also trying reverting back to the tempest OG version and i still cant get EDI to not crash! Any assistance would be greatly appreciated, EDI was my favorite tool every and this is really bugging me now :frowning:

I’m using Khrulls v0.471 and EDI works fine for me. I have it setup between 3 different games now with that new dropdown selection. Main thing I needed to do was make sure to set the timings for the servos to 240hz. you might want to try setting which COM# port your using in the EdiConfig.json?

0.471b is what I’m running too
You hit the “Edit Timers” button at the top. The OSR will feel jerky if the timers are not updated.

Does anyone know why EDI would just… stop working after a minute or two? I’ve got my Handy connected via Device keys and it seems to work for a minute or two, then it just stops and will only be fixed by a restart of EDI and the game, which is obviously not ideal.

just updated and now i’m getting “Failed to connect to client: Websocket Connection Exception! See Inner Exception” and “Upload failed for AutoBlow [------------]. Status code: BadRequest”
Any ideas? the version before the game select was added works fine. im at a loss

No, those games would need a mod to use EDI

im struggling to get EDI setup for different games/links ive found. i dont know where to even start or if its safe for my pc. any guidance for a newcomer would be greatly appreciated.

To provide information, my pc wont let me even open the EDI application that was in the EDI.exe file

Download it as a zip fro mega and unzip into a directory like documents folder and try it that way. I had issues like you until I did this.

Sorry for the late answer but if people have this problem (like me). I found a solution.
The redirect link from the error “DOWNLOAD IT NOW” isn’t the right needed.
If you use the link autor provides (Download .NET 8.0 Desktop Runtime (v8.0.22) - Windows x64 Installer) (in my case) it works again. Hope it will help

It seems that the device is disconnected and connected repeatedly. There is no problem when watching videos using scriptplayer or the like. I don’t think it’s a problem with handy’s own connection, what’s the problem? In ready, check signs and connection failures are repeatedly marked (in most cases, connection failure).

Which Handy firmware are you using?
Some games, like my recent integration for NoR, contain a large number of scripts that are not optimally bundled for older Handy firmware versions.
So you need to be on at least FW4 for everything to load properly.

Thank you for kind reply, it was fixed by updating firmware 3 to 4 version
