Jumping in on this thread - haven’t read every response in detail, but wanted to respond to a few of your original points.
I’m not sure I wholly agree with this. I DO agree that glancing at the post headings, it seems that there is a ton of super short animated content flooding the community. But there is a TON of posts. There still are lots of long form quality scripts out there - probably more than any single person could view in full, it just gets buried amongst the flood of short paid scripts.
To be honest, I have no idea what you’re referring to here
A good script should be accurate from a timing perspective and muted OR exaggerated when called for. I feel that good scripters not only take accuracy into account, but also what the user experience is like. MANY good scripters here do this. I really don’t know if “boldness” or “surprise” belong in scripts. My dick doesn’t want to be “surprise” smashed by a “bold” script lol.
Again, there are tons of good scripts. I’m not sure if you’re referring to script quality, video quality, or both. But video preference is TOTALLY personal - that’s part of what makes ES awesome. You can find almost ANYTHING here with extremely little kink shaming going on. It’s super great and I’m really thankful that there is a little corner of the internet like ES.
Now, for some of my personal thoughts on the topic (at the risk of going slightly off topic).
VR has gotten a bit boring to me. It can be incredibly immersive, but the same angles over and over again have worn on me over the years. A few studios have incorporated mirrors and threesomes, but for the most part, unless it’s a girl I really like, I’m skipping.
The deluge of 10-20 second videos has gotten a bit annoying when trying to view the main page. It’s a big reason why I only release packs (or ultra mega packs) of creators that specialize in short videos. There’s some real talent and quality content in these loopable videos, but posting up 1 at a time really creates a lot of clutter over time.
Despite all of this, I still feel that until AI scripts get better, demand will always outpace supply. I would suggest supporting and giving positive feedback to scripters that you like and appreciate. Even creating a “brasilmas” stamp of approval to be handed out to scripts you like, may be more constructive in the long run vs. a complaint thread. Good feedback can be really motivating and help prevent scripter burnout - quality scripts take a fuckton of time to do. I’d guess than 90%+ of good quality scripters are primarily scripting material that they personally enjoy - sharing it with a thankless community can be really demoralizing over time.
Anyways, that’s my 2 cents, I’ll keep my eye on this thread and happily participate in discussion.
