Getting Started in Paid Scripting

I was wondering if some of the more experienced users here could guide me as to how I can get setup making paid scripts. I think I saw a post saying to contact @Realcumber about scripting for SLR which I may be interested in if a tad under qualified. I was also wondering about some other aspects of making paid scripts which I am sure some of you could answer.
