If you have an arm to go in between it should be fine, otherwise you will probably need something in between to connect the clamp to the tripod mount
Yes buddy I have the original handy arm…
The cup is so expensive for what it is .topped off with delivery … so I thought above will last lol
just make sure the Tripod has the same threads as the Handy arm
Yes have been using this clamp with the arm… my handy clamp broke. Hence a bought the clamp above… then low and behold the cup snaps a few weeks later .
So instead of 80+ eur delivers a get the above for 30 GBP and not a 2+ week wait will arrive tomorrow
I meant the tripod
How about this - maybe ask your local 3d printing company to do it for you for at least a tenner: https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/various/revised-handy-handsfree-cup-deeper-nut-hole-and-thicker-topface
brexit screwed us all over for shipping - not the handy company’s fault right?
i have the exact same clamp. it works perfectly with the handsfree cup
Yep it’s perfect but like a said the cup broke .
Am not paying X amount for plastic again so hopefully what I posted works better and is stronger …
yeah before the handy cup thing came out most people got their own rigs. I also wouldn’t trust a thing made out of plastic to hold a couple of pounds of weight unless it was hefty plastic. But even then cant go wrong with a metal ring.
If thats the right size lens mount you should just be able to tighten it around the top of the handy(dont tighten it too much cause the handy is still plastic and can crack). I believe i put friction tape/felt or w/e to make sure it doesn’t slip.
The only thing of note is because plastic->metal it does add more weight to the system. It shouldnt be that much of an issue but idk how good those arms are.
I would still reach out to support to see if you could get a replacement, never bad to have spares
