Handy 2 Pro - Faulty Battery

Hi Guys,
I’ve sent Handy an email re this problem but thought I’d put here in case anyone else had any insights…

I’m having an issue with the battery on my new Handy 2 Pro. It is no longer charging. This is only a recent issue that has come to light.

I can confirm the following:

• My USBC adaptor is rated to 70W (has charged everything fine up to this point.
• I’ve tried 3 different cables since the issue has come to light (including 1 cable that has a power draw feature so that I can see what is happening).
• Firmware version is up to date
• Factory reset and MUC have been undertaken
• No change

From the app (refer to screenshots) I can see that the battery has 0V and is not charging. When plugged in I am still able to use the device.

When the unit operates (plugged in) i can see it is drawing power (up to 30W) but it never draws any power otherwise although the battery is a 0% capacity.

through these vias, leaving pins with poor connections. A unit can work fine when it leaves our
factory, then fail weeks or months later as the connection degrades with use. This is a design and
manufacturing problem on our side”

Hi All,
Update, I haven’t been provided a reason but a replacement has been sent to me and is currently in transit.
Although it took a couple of days to respond, I can’t fault how tech support have addressed the issue.
