Hello ALL and DIYs! I soldered my first handy 2 pro device with a soldering kit. I didn’t want to deal with the handy email report nonsense so I fixed the issue myself. I took out the battery and no longer have to use the type C port. This is the most common issue and there is a manufacturing defect…My handy 1 still works and it has a barrel plug. I bought the same barrel plug for my handy 2 pro with higher correct voltage and amps and it works. DIY guide below. Splicing dc adapter wire to solder to battery wires and boom my handy 2 pro works again. This is my 1st handy 2 pro device i ordered as an early bird back in October 2025. If the handy company can’t fix the issue I will do it instead…They were given over a million dollars on their kickstarter…

I bought a handy 2 pro on kick starter back in October 2025. I don’t know how many handy 2 pro devices they have in stock might stop working out of nowhere like mine did. Here is their email response to me. I waited patiently but no reply over a week. I emailed again for a follow up like I’m applying for a job…My email stated I modded the handy 2 device myself and only then I got a reply…I know its not his fault maybe he didn’t manufacture it but their support system sucks more ass than 2 girls 1 cup…
Handy 2 Pro Common Issues
This device is already expensive without the retail price tag. Please don’t blame me for the damage of your device since this voids your warranty and this is a GUIDE to help you not use batteries anymore. My handy 2 pro device’s batteries could not hold any charge anymore.
I took the liberty in DIY tutorial. I forgot to take pictures of my dissembly of the Handy 2 pro but I will do my best without pictures since I only documented the end result.
Dissembly Handy 2 Pro Instructions in 6 steps.
1. Handy 2 pro rubber casing is held by glue. With a flathead screwdriver take your time taking off the glue inside the the rubber casing. The rubber casing is very important to holding the rod that makes the machine go up and down. So dont make any modifications to it because it has to be put back on together. The only modification is the battery wires. The battery wires is the main goal to soldering to a DC adapter to have a working device.
Now that the rubber casing is off. We will put it back on together on a later step.
2. With a precision screwdriver there should be 6 screws holding the device together. Unscrew them. One of them is hidden behind glue. No special tip needed but the screws are small…
3. CAREFULLY pry the device open with a plastic wedge. Move the motor up and down to open the device slowly. Slowly take out the battery.
4. There is a plastic guard inside protecting the mobo in case ejaculation is strong it blocks the motherboard from being orgasm on. Click that plastic guard back into place. Most likely it came off trying to take the battery out. The plastic guard push it to the TOP of the device then click. There is no space on the bottom that’s where the big motor sits.
5. If you unplugged the battery 3 wire plug please plug it back into the handy motherboard. Feed the rest of the wire through the hole at the bottom 2 inches down from the type c port BEFORE snapping the handy 2 device back together and then screwing everything back together.
You don’t need the battery any more now that your device is lighter but the wires are IMPORTANT to get your handy pro 2 working again by soldering to a DC adapter.
6. Before putting the rubber casing back on feed the wires through the bottom RUBBER HOLE shown in the above picture. The wires are FRAGILE so just hold them steady while putting the rubber casing back on.
I didn’t glue the casing back on but its optional. Now we going to trick the battery wires by soldering the ground wire which is black to the dc adapter which is also black and red wire to the red wire on the dc adapter.
