Handy stuck on flashing magenta

Hi guys. So i tried connecting my device to a new network today, went through the whole process of using legacy bluetooth since it was on FW4 and everything however its stuck on the flashing magenta color and it wont connect successfully on the final step during the device setup. I’ve tried my main network, a split IoT 2.4 network, and a hotspot and they all cause it to get stuck. I’ve followed the steps it says during setup and have tried multiple power cycles but it just constantly gets stuck. I tried sending an email to support but I just found out from the forms that they take forever to get back to you. The AI chatbot wasn’t to helpful either.

Does someone know how to fix this issue? Any help is welcomed please :')

Not sure what you mean that you are using “legacy bluetooth since it was on FW4”.

This is a quote about FW4 by HandyAlexander, a product rep for the TheHandy.

At the same time you are talking about networks (WiFi). I recall that some users have had issues when there were multiple networks. Can’t find the posts about it though and see how they solved it. Someone had to simplify their network SSID for it to work.

Another user realized that the network signal was too weak. The network was found but that was it. By moving closer to the router the issue was resolved.

Hotspot networks can also be a bit tricky. Someone had to change a setting on iPhone 12 for it to work.
Cellular → Data Mode → [Standard]
I had “Allow more data on 5G” enabled, which I think was the problem

In general the official support channel is often the best way to go. You can try and see if their discord provides faster responses than e-mail. An invite link is available in the Community section (scroll down after visiting Welcome to the Oh! | Ohdoki Help Center ).
