My Handy2 pro worked fine for a few sessions but now the white leds do not turn on and the motor does not run. I have tried troubleshooting with the chat bot and factory reset and mcu reset the device. There is no apparent blockage of the motor. It does not attempt to run at all. According to the onboarding app my device is 100% charged. The multicolor led works fine and indicates clearly that it is connected to wifi or bluetooth appropriately.
Figured I’d ask if anyone has ideas on how to troubleshoot this while I wait for their customer service to get back to me.
Use this link below as a last resort. Ive used my handy pro 2 to solder battery wires to a dc adapter to plug rather than use the batteries. Handy2 battery wires soldered to dc adapter wires and i no longer have to charge. Its a battery issue. This is the same handy 2 pro i got from their kickstarter before it was publically released…
Kirroo are woeful, product and user support. Shame about the handy2.
I contacted them about a purchase enquiry and when I asked about the concerns they played dumb… Vote of no confidence from me. I’m just deciding between 2 and 6 axis now.
Take videos of the issues and contact support. I’ve needed it replaced once and probably need it replaced again. I even posted about it in the subreddit to ask about other people’s experiences, but the post was removed because it violated their rule against support requests. I wasn’t even making a support request, they just wanted to censor negative content.
