Hi! I have been using stash.app for the longest time to organize my videos but am looking for other ways. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Although I have a decent number of flat / 2D / non-VR videos, I strongly prefer VR content. That’s why I use xbvr to organize my 30,000 videos and 22,000 funscripts.

Do you mainly use that program to organize vr porn? Does it also work with 2d?

xbvr will scrape scene information from various VR sites. It does not support doing so for non-VR sites, but you can manually enter information. I do this for PMVs and POV 2D content from EroScripts regularly.
The best part of xbvr is the gallery view that lets you easily browse your library from HereSphere. And since you match video and funscript files to a scene - not by filename - it is easy to enjoy both. This setup with the Oculus verison of HereSphere - which has Handy Wifi support built in - is my favorite because no PC is required and it is fast to get to the content.

I use MediaChips. Pretty much made for porn organisation and is available for Mac and PC.

Why do you want to replace stash? I love it, awesome that it has funscript/Handy playback and heatmaps. For VR I use xbvr though. Don’t mind separating 2D and VR content.

I have the files on my nas split into themes like to-be-sorted, anime, Special creators, vr, non-vr. Split this organization into funscripted and non-funscripted and than have indexes it with stash. Could not think of a better organizer.

Do any of these ways work with T-Code devices? Things like Stash etc, don’t think they would work.

I also love stash but just wanted to see what others use. Once I get a VR headset I might move to a different application just for vr videos.

I use stash and stash-vr for both flat and vr viewing. Vr viewing I use HereSphere and honestly it works pretty damn good.

Any tips or gotchas for HereSphere with stash-vr?
When I set it up it a few months ago, it worked pretty well.
Only issue was pass-through videos not defaulting to alpha/pass-through settings. I had to adjust them manually (and I think I had to adjust them every time as well)
Eh, never really needed to add more scripts or software to organize if I start right out of the gate with a format that works for me.
For my e-stim collection, there’s another couple dimensions - tracks with vids, tracks without, painful or pleasure, dual-channel or “triphase”, and randoms get sorted by length with times in the titles so I don’t have to think.
For my funscripts, I took a similar approach and grouped videos by function and genre. So PMVs get one folder with subfolders Fast/Med/Slow, and by title from there. POV another…Scenes, JOI, Cock Hero, and Gooning. Everything I haven’t watched gets dropped into a New folder to play and review… if I like it or think I’ll watch/use again, I sort it. If there’s a need for a new category, easy to add.
StoneRebel, Ironscripts, and other stand-alone… I pull a couple videos from my collection that match the script’s vibe and length and pair them to a script. Similarly… if I like a script but not a video, I’ll see if I have something that lines up in some fashion.
Way back when Pornhub allowed downloads and uploads from any user account, E-stim world was doing a lot of work to sync videos. Someone created a funscript converter tool, a couple more popped up over time… In any case, the weeks before they shut off the tap, I grabbed as much as I could that I liked, and moved over to Spankbang, and for a couple years went through a dozen accounts all getting nuked after uploads got popular enough.
But the PH debacle was fresh in mind, so I bought a bunch of external HDDs, a DAS, and eventually NAS to just grab everything I watched and liked.
(so if you have a hypno/brainwash/goon video, a Numberonefan vid, Wildcats PMVs, or any of the “oh man I miss that video” techno compilations that always get taken down, or your pornstar/latex fetish/femdom interests match mine, there’s a chance I have it… TBs going back to pre-pandemic)
Honestly just stash plus a few of the stashboxes, I do tag the creator of the script but outside of that I don’t do much. I drop everything into a folder and just go on with life (one for VR, one for flat). I did try to create subfolders but such a pain, plus stash already has some plugins to help with that.
On Heresphere+stash-vr side, I just made a few filters .. Flat, VR Fresh, VR Slow etc.
As for pass-throughs I try not to deal with them because of what you said. Sometimes I have luck with removing the mask others times its a lot of artifacts. I just gave up trying to deal with them and unless its a killer video I’ll just skip pass-through content lol
The only other thing I do is make sure that I have heresphere set to write hsp files and have it mounted to a folder outside the stash-vr docker instance. Other than that my whole setup is pretty bare bones
