Hi @laweru5748 - JFP is the only offiicial way at this moment - SLR is working on official direct OSR2 streamer though.

Is there anything in particular you are preferring that MultiFunPlayer does that JFP doesnt? I really like the edging controller bindings that JFP offers and recommend everyone try those if they havent before

Are you trying to use your toy (which one) in VR?

I will be updating this guide with more up to date info soon, but I would recommend using this more up to date easy to follow guide (depending on your toy)

Sorry for the vague question.

In the ScriptPlayer, on the Video Player drop down menu, neither the SLR app nor the DeoVR app appears. Even though Iā€™ve installed them both and have one of them open.

Iā€™m trying to use the Kiiroo Keon with Oculus Rift S if that helps

Hey guys, new here. Just ordered my KEON, got some QUALITY content and scripts throughout the forums, and now looking into this setup stuff. Couple questions:

  1. Connecting to my Laptop eventually, not using VR stuff, Do I still need the SLR/DEOVR+SteamVR stuff as some kind of intermediary for the device functioning, or can I skip that stuff and just use Scriptplayer/Buttplug for 2D?
  2. You recommend a Bluetooth Receiver and extension. Is it even necessary if you can set delay times, or is it more of a consistency issue just using standard Bluetooth connections on a laptop/PC? Also, would be great if you guys have some recommendations on the Bluetooth stuff. Donā€™t want to waste money and time ordering on junk if I need it.

Hi @Alterworlds

1 - You dont need the VR items, but its a whole other level of immersion that everyone should really try if they can one day

2 - You dont need an additional bluetooth receiver and extension if your builtin one already works fine - its mainly meant to ensure a better connection if you have issues with playback/connecting

Thanks Realcumber, I thought so. Perhaps when VR stuff is a bit lighter and smoother, like whatever next generations come out, Iā€™ll give it a try.

Iā€™m trying to use my Handy with my Quest 2. If I do Option 3 with ScriptPlayer does that mean I still have to have my scripts and vids in the interactive folder on the headset?

Also, Intiface isnā€™t working for me anymore. A couple of days ago I used it, closed the lid on my laptop, came back the next day, opened the lid and now itā€™s just a blank white window. Iā€™ve uninstalled and reinstalled several times and I still just get a blank white window.

Hi. I Still canā€™t get it.
I have:

  1. a PC with ScriptPlayer and BT module
  2. a Wi-Fi Network
  3. an Android smartphone
  4. Launch
  5. a Google Cardboard

Is there a way to watch VR porn on my smartphone using GC, and use the Launch simultaniously, to make them work together?

If yes, can you please give me the simple step-by-step guide?

Maybe someone can help me? I had been using Script player and initface for a while. Mostly with the Oculus Quest and Keon. I found that I also really enjoy the 2D vids with the Keon as well. However, after a couple of times watching 2D videos, it suddenly stopped working. I can play videos just fine. It loads the video and script successfully, but the Keon just wonā€™t connect. I havenā€™t changed anything so Iā€™m not sure why it just stopped connecting. Iā€™ve rebooted the PC, restarted both programs multiple times, but nothing seems to work. Any suggestions?

I am using a Gear VR with my android phone. I know, Iā€™m out of date and ancient. Anyway, I have a lovense Max2 and saw this thread. So I installed the haptics app and followed your instructions. The problem is that when I go through the DeoVR version I have I donā€™t get the option to connect to SLR Interactive/Haptics Connect. The only option is to connect to SLR Interactive. There is no Haptics Connect on that button switch. I am guessing because I have an older version of DeoVR. But the new version is for Oculus, not Gear VR. Iā€™d rather not go buy an Oculus. Is there anyway I can get this set up with Gear VR?

Quest 2 problems connecting DeoVR with Scriptplayer on windows 10 desktop. the desktop is on a wired connection but the quest connects with XBVR no problem.

Kiiroo connects ok to Scriptplayer (using Intiface with bluetooth dongle)

I tried using different ip/ports for deovr, and checked through firewall settings

update: fixed by putting my Quest 2s ip in scriptplayer deovr box

Can someone help me out? Iā€™m getting the ā€˜DeoVR not connectedā€™ issue.
Iā€™m on Windows 10 with an Oculus Link connected Quest 2 and running DeoVR through the Oculus PC app. Iā€™m on DeoVR version 12 and Scriptplayer Prerelease 1.1.1.

Iā€™ve tried switching IP : port for DeoVR on Script Player to localhost:23554 and localhost:13579, Iā€™ve tried turning off my firewalls, Iā€™ve tried reopening both or 1 of the programs, Iā€™ve tried toggling Enable Remote Control off and back on.

quest 2 + kiiroo keon + windows 10. I got it not really working with deo/scriptplayer, it was slow motion and out of sync. I ditched those and went heresphere/multifunplayer and itā€™s working better than before SLR started trolling everyone. both methods require intiface.

HereSphere VR Video Player (Quest 2) by HereSphere (demo works fine, spend the $30 if you donā€™t want a popup). has to be loaded through sidequest and then go to unknown sources to see it.

start this before multifunplayer

-top box will be your quest2s IP (get it in your quest 2 wifi settings)
-2nd box set script library to my xvbr scripts exported into a folder
-bottom box you will add output to buttplug.io/intiface
-box inside bottom box (I didnā€™t notice this one for a while) you need the map the axis to your device
