Does anyone know of a tool, or how, to go about converting a Funscript to a 1-channel audio estim file?
I know about the converters by cfs6t08 and edger477 - as great as they are, they produce a 2-channel tri-phase estim file and not a file suitable for single channel use.
Why do I want this?
I’d like to look at using multi-device scripts. I’m thinking I can use the Handy for the sleeve funscript and my sterostim box with an anal plug using the converted dildo funscript. I’d imbed the converted audio file into the rear channels of the video in the same manner as I have for 100’s of videos previously.
With this configuration I can have the handy doing its thing and the stereostim/plug combo driven by the converted funscript doing its thing in perfect harmony.
For the sleeve and dildo multi-device scripts. I’ll create two Funscript conversions, one for the left channel and one for the right channel, basically each is mono and designed for each position (cock and anal). In your case you only need to convert one script and this is how I do it and find these settings are my starting point and if I look like I’ve lost definition(too many low points) or it’s ‘too peaky’ when looking at Audacity, I’ll make adjustments to the center volume or position. Setting the center volume higher will make sure that there aren’t too many ‘invisible’ movements because below about 60% volume and you barely feel anything, most of the sensation is in the 70-100%.
Everything listed in the same order as this tool.
1 second fade out
8000hz sample rate
600hz frequency (too high and the stim is too surface level to cause a clench with Stereostim, too low and you’ll get an uncomfortable sting) this really depends on your electrode, lube conductivity, personal body stuff, etc. In my testing with a good electrode and proper lube I can handle 400hz on a plug with reasonable sized electrodes but as the lube dries out 500hz is needed to prevent the sting but often I go to 600hz just to have more comfort margin in case I’m dehydrated or something.
Volume mapping, choose the channel you want to stim with and use these settings.
Volume at 0 - 0
Volume at center - 70
Volume at 100 - 100
Center is at position - 50
For the channel you aren’t using set the 3 volume settings to 0. For my own use, I will swap those settings for the opposite channel and make another mp3 for the cock channel and then use Audacity to put them into a single mp3 with the right channel configuration, but I realize that isn’t your request but it’s a thing you could try at some point.
Be sure to set Funscript normalization Min to 0 and Max to 100. You don’t want this going muddy on you or you won’t get the volume differences you need, so use 0 and 100.
Check expand to full range for the same reason as above, and check fade out during pauses.
These settings work for 95% of all of the multi-device scripts I’ve tried and I have searched the multi-device tag and have used almost everything on this site already unless it was targeted as a vibrator script, which looking at the script pattern I haven’t found one that really seems like it would work with this conversion method.
