I didn’t see a topic on how to join different funscripts (Compilation). Is there one?
Just want to express interest in this topic, since I was asking myself the same question. I started making some scripts and I’m looking forward to share them with the community but I would love to make the snippets I scripted into a compilation first.
Unfortunately you can’t copy and paste from one OFS instance to another and there’s no way to append a script to an existing project from what I’ve seen.
The only way I figured this could work is by opening both funscript files in a text editor and copy / pasting the contents at the correct frames and making sure they don’t overlap with the other script. For this you could select all keyframes in OFS and push them to where they don’t overlap with the other script.
I will probably replace the video of my project files with the compilation video and place the keyframes in each project at the right position. This will make sure they don’t overlap, then I will copy / paste the contents of all into one in the right order. Hope this works.
While you can’t paste it from one OFS instance to the other, you can go to Project > Add > Add Existing so that both funscript files are open and then you’re free to copy and paste from one script to the other.
Whenever I’m making compilations, I’ll put a keyframe on the very first frame so I can just copy and paste it at the exact point one scene changes to the next. That way it’s synced up.
Yep, there’s a tool for this! I put together a pretty detailed how-to in the comments on the following post. Let me know if you hit any issues and I might be able to help. Best of luck!
