I’m looking for some advice on how to mix two different funscripts for the same scene.
Because of noise constraints in my apartment, I can’t run high-speed scripts on my The Handy. I can take an existing script and use funscripts.io to apply a limiter (doubling the duration/halving the speed).
I don’t want to use the fully limited script because it slows down the parts that were already slow and fine to begin with. I want to keep the original slow parts as they are, and only “paste” the limited (slowed down) versions of the fast sections into my project.
What is the best software to open two funscripts side-by-side (or on two tracks) without needing a video file, so I can manually cut from the limited one and paste into the original one?
Is OpenFunscripter (OFS) capable of doing this easily? If so, could someone guide me on how to load two scripts at once and toggle between them for copying/pasting?
Start looking at this tool. It has some settings to limit top and/or bottom points that might do what you want.
If you still want to edit your scripts then have a look at “(09:03 Multi-axis scripting” in part 3 in the link below for how you work with multiple scripts in OFS. You need a video file but it can be anything that is longer than the script you are going to edit. Just rename the video to the script file or better, use the video that the original script is for (if you have the file available).
