Okay, I am gonna close it a bit earlier, then I planed. But I don’t think I’ll get any more suggestions in.
I got 14 videos to work with. My goal is to make a ~ 30 minutes compilation out of it. Should be a good lenght.
This will just be a “plain” compilation, without any music, since this is it, what most people voted for.
I may consider doing an edited version, with music and a beat based / action based script. But this one will be a compilation, no music, full action script.
I hope I can make something decent out of it.

This would be something, that takes some time though. Searching good music, cutting it, so it fits to the music, editing it, make sure everything fits, so you can script it afterwards is much more time consuming.

Unfortunately I ran into a bit of a problem. What I wanted to do, is to just simply copy the original part of the script I need for a section, into the compilation. That’s not working as I thought it would. I thought I can just open OFS two times. One with the script I need and one with the compilation. Then I just wanted to copy the part I need into the compilation. But that is not working. Instead I have to open the script into OFS (just running it once) and then copy it from there.
I wrote down all the time marks, so I could just jump to that part and copy it from there and paste it into the compilation. But since I have to have two scripts open it once, it’s rather difficult. The time stamps are not working anymore and I have to search the part I need and copy it. Honestly, this is very tedious and not fun. The compilation is around ~ 30 minutes long and I have 43 time marks, that I have to search for, find the correct part and copy it over. After this I have to correct the timings, because the videos have different framerates and are scripted to the according framerate.
Because of that, I will release a PMV version first. I can’t promise I will release the compilation version as well, because as I said, it’s very tedious to make it work.
Overall I should have tested it first. For some reason I thought I can just have OFS open two times and just simply copy the part I need from one OFS to another OFS.
I apologize for that inconvenience and hope the PMV version can compensate at least a bit. This version is mixed between action and beat based.
If somebody has a good solution for it, please let me know.

I’ve never made scripts so this is probably not helpful but could you perhaps open it as a text file and copy/paste the sections you need then shift them to the right timestamps in OFS
I don’t think it will work.
I need the strokes:
I wanted to copy the stroke lines from one script to another. I can, but I have to open two scripts in one OFS and then find the right section and then copy it over.
