If it makes sense to sell scripts

…this ^

At some point, or it may already be happening, somebody is going to successfully feed all this scripting data to an AI. And then it’s a whole new ball game. If we’re lucky, that person is on the same page as the majority of this community, and the AI becomes open source. At that point, anyone can acquire a script for anything they want.

But it gets better. Because you can program the parameters within which the AI operates, chose your own personal style, select certain elements for it to follow, and dictate your own personal preferences each and every time the AI produces a script, many different scripts will be produced for each video, resulting in a selection of scripts, which can be rated. And then fed back into the AI, or amalgamated by a scripter, who i see as something like the conductor of an orchestra at this stage, blending different scripts to highlight the very best sections, adding the odd personal touch, the odd ‘solo’, wtvr, there are no rules, (there never have been).

But it gets better. Because an AI could literally make it up in real time as you go along, not just with prerecorded videos but live, with people. A blowjob could be preformed on a dildo on the other side of the planet, the AI could script the action in real time, no need for expensive teledonics that are yet to be invented. Fuck anyone you want anywhere, with anything, in any way you can imagine, let the AI handle the tech interpretations, and it’ll just keep learning.

But it gets better. Because AI isn’t limited by the imagination of a single human, it isn’t limited in its creativity. DALL-E 2 is on the way to the masses (so that cat’s out the bag now). The mind-blowing imagination of the images that the program produces are breathtaking. Think of the variety of sensations an AI might try to bombard you with when scripting. The hyperreal expression of CGI, translated into new sensations and feeling. Mmmm… nice… by that stage we’ve left Kansas, and vanilla is off the menu.

None of this would even be possible without the scripting community as it exists right now. AI can only springboard off the back of what is happening right here on this site. As such, it would make sense if the basic version is released open source, as much of the data has been produced by people here purely for the love of the art form. No reason other houses, like SLR or KinkVR, couldn’t modify their iterations of the AI to produce their own ‘feel’ of scripts, carefully curated by the scripting staff there, etc.

We can only dream.

*sigh…

I wanted to write a long answer - here I am.
My opinion is that many people rely heavily on neural networks. I have experience with them and this is what I think:

  1. For a neural network to work correctly for scripts it has to be properly prepared. This requires a lot. a lot of resources.

Let’s take a look at the MediaPipe project, which is already supposed to be able to do many things (the only thing missing is tracking secondary and primary sex characteristics).

  • This project is done by Google - that is, no one thinks about the budget, if they need it and it is justified - they get the money they need.
  • This project has been in the public domain for over 2 years (how long it was in development and closed is unknown). I tried it in winter for motion recognition for VR porn - didn’t work well.
  • I could not find which datasets were used for training (and this is a huge job - to prepare the right datasets and need a huge amount of CPU power).
  • The project continues to support, improve and fix bugs (3500 issues only).
  1. A good percentage of correct recognitions would be 80-95%, respectively, each script must be checked manually for errors and inaccuracies. In my experience checking the project takes at least 30% of the time of writing, for multi-axis even more. This means more people who understand how to write post-processing scripts will be needed. It is incorrect to say that a neural network will replace people.

  2. I can see several areas where this technology is in demand (motion recognition) - medicine, sports, movies, game development. So far I do not see any projects other than “IPhone squat counting”. But these areas have the advantage of being able to use sensors, because objects for recognition in clothing. Perhaps optical markers on the bodies of actors and invisible to cameras to revolutionize - but it is not certain.

In summary - the use of AI in writing scripts is a matter of the near future (I think 5-10 years), but it will not affect the real industry in any way. The question seems to me to lie in society’s attitude towards sex tech. I have some thoughts on this. I want to finish my real script in the works and then start a thread on the forum.

It’s been 10 days since I published for patrons. Now 11 people are willing to pay for early access, even though there are 2 scripts in total (mono and multi-axis versions). Soon I will post the mono script for the new video.
I thought that the early access model is more correct with respect to the community, the people who write the scripts. All my scripts will be free after 3 months from publishing date and I’m only sponsored by people who want to buy me a beer
In addition, I think this “sales” model gives me the right to take any free script and make it multi-axis. Because there are several of my favorite videos that have free mono scripts.

That’s great, I hope it works for you. I’m happy to pay the cheaper multi sub when you make it available if I like the scripts, but the current multi price is just too much for me at the moment.

On December 12th I will be converting two mono scripts to a $1 subscription, and on the 16th the multi-axis subscription will be available for $2. In another month they will become free.
I don’t think the scripts are unique in any way, the main points I checked on the multi-axis free ones that are available on the forum. Well, the methods I use are different from the conventional ones.

Interesting! I look forward to checking them out

…yea, that would be an interesting discussion thread.

On the subject of AI, my mind just got blown by this video:

Google’s Video AI: Outrageously Good! :robot:

i thought of you, because at one point he mentions that ‘Technology that was 5-10 years away to possibly never’ has suddenly emerged into AI. Yea, i know, different field than motion capture, but my point is that AI is moving forward far faster than we realize, maybe fully generated real time AI scripting is closer than we think!

And then there’s the realization that we are now literally able to put text prompts into an AI generator, and it’ll spit videos out. The idea that someone won’t devise a porn based one is inconceivable, there’s soooooo much data available for it to consume that it’ll be immense, and rather imaginative. Every great innovation in media is driven by porn at its inception, the printing press, photography, etc, i see this field, as being no different, once the cats out the bag (or the A.I.'s out the lab, wtvr…).

Fingers crossed…! xD

I’m new to scripting but was big on erotic games in general and seeing a lot of creators at work, it seems like the way to go to is do scripts that you like or fill requests that you’d find personally enjoyable and have a Patreon or similar to get tips. People will throw you something here or there for your efforts and it’s free money if you view it as a hobby. Eventually if you get known enough maybe you can pick up some requests that actually pay reasonably to you.

for the love of god i dont care if you sell scripts ill probably buy them but. dont put them on sites that use only crypto in my experience those sites dont work right and you cant buy the script. ive tried multiple times. or its borderline scamming you.

It’s been two months since I’ve been taking donations through patreon for my work, now there will be an opportunity to get cheap early access a month before free publications.
Just withdrawing money - enough for a budget Chinese 3D printer (which is what I needed) + donate for example to support the forum and on MFP.
I do not think it can really bring good money in the format in which I now publish scripts, but allows you to really plan some spending on your hobbies. I consider the dependence of subscriptions to me on the scripts that I publish - it’s something like a social experiment, well, I think to publish a couple of scripts (trans already have) not in the format of conventional videos (man + woman).

glad you were able to subsidise a 3D printer. good on you.

It’s just a matter of designing, printing, programming my sex robot

I’ve been selling a fairly successful app on the app stores since 2015. Conversion rate of 2% to 3% of turning free to paid customers is considered good. So unless there’s special business value you bring to the table (such as your site being being the best for search & discoverability, sizable script library for hard to-find niche content, largest library of scripts, etc), backed up with good marketing, it’s going to difficult to make meaningful amount money from this.

I think if I were to try to make some extra cash with this, then I’d take it on as a commission like how artists take on painting commissions. I’d make sure that I still own the rights to the scripts though, so that I can start experimenting with various monetization schemes in the future.

Teledildonics is still too niche though, even amongst the most tech savvy porn consumers. But definitely early times to start building it out if you believe it’ll go big and mainstream.
