So basically, you claimed that it’s how they handle user data and their privacy policy, but it’s actually that NA is governed by US law and DeoVR/SLR is based in Slovenia?
You are free to make your own choices, of course, but if you imply that there is some problem with another company’s data and privacy policy (vaguely hinting that they are disreputable in some fashion), you should back that up, rather than just point at their location.
Remember, it was the shady way that NAVR introduced this service that got a lot of us annoyed in the first place. Don’t keep going down that road.

Why does NA not understand that the days of exploitative and shady porn sites is over? Too many big reputable players for anyone to fall for that crap anymore.

@withy We are working towards solving the issues you mentioned. The privacy policy seems vague for an application provider starting with no mention of jurisdiction. If it’s Europe, great, they do have good data policies.
@doublevr there is nothing wrong with European companies.

It seems this thread becomes SLR vs. NA 
Personally I don’t like streaming because we are not there yet and streaming means losing quality. Still CzechVR has the best quality and I’m happy to download videos from CzechVR or POVR over streaming. But it seems some SLR users are happy about streaming. Not sure you can address all the user types.
Anyway, I believe NA needs to improve its gears. The quality is inferior compare to POVR and BadoinkVR.

In the context of NA improving gears, is this for the videos, the scripts, connection between the scripts and videos or all of the above? Very open to your feedback so we can work towards solutions.
@DreamLover I mean the visual quality of the videos. I would say in the North America, POVR and WankzVR have the best visual quality. Since you’ve started to invest more in VR, It would be great if you improve the visual quality of the videos, specially true 8K. I saw a test clip from VRHush that sounds very promising.

No, we want a simple way to freaking stream vr content at high quality with script. The occulus browser is horrible to use. Fyi, I never download any of my vr content.
Yall need to make your model like slr, how easy it is to stream content with script and how simple it is.

I honestly barely see any difference with streaming vs downloading on slr…For czech and na, yes, because they uses Oculus browser…

Btw scripts streaming is coming to oculus browser as well as we are releasing upgraded webxr player with much better quality
