For me camera angles are more important than quality. You can have true 8k video that has so bad angles you don’t want to watch it, and you can have an old 3k video with amazing angles and cast where quality doesn’t really matters.
Unfortunately streaming VR sucks and the only exception is SLR where videos are pretty good quality. I think there are few videos where you want higher bitrate (darker scenes) and even streaming on SLR might not be enough, but for 99% it’s more then decent.
IMO downloaded CzechVR videos have higher quality compare to streaming or downloaded SLR videos. SLR originals quality are good but not as decent as CzechVR or POVR. Some other studios that release their contents on SLR need to improve their gears to have SLR originals quality.
All I’m saying, streaming in VR is much harder than streaming 4k 2D videos that companies like Netflix are doing. SLR did a pretty good job but they need to sacrifice quality. For some people it’s noticeable and for the rest it’s not. I’m interested in when they learn how to use the native 8K cameras and see how they are dealing with bitrates. Maybe it’s safer for other studios to rely on downloaded clips over streaming like CzechVR and NA.
Just take a screenshot or a photo of a downloaded and streamed video. You won’t see a difference
There are many misconceptions in VR. You might like cvr or povr for whatever reason, but it has little to do with the quality you refer to.

Are you streaming on SLR through the DeoVR application?
Correct. Given a user has proper internet there should be no distinctive difference between downloads and streaming

I agree that every person has a different taste and I’m happy that we have great studios like CVR, SLR, NA, POVR and others to choose from. IMO The difference between POVR and SLR is subtle. Even in one studio some of videos have better visual quality (maybe better post-processing or other parameters?). But for me true 8K is noticeable and currently only one studio has true 8K. I know SLR is working on it. Despite all different opinions in this thread, I would say all of us agree that shooting a VR video is more difficult than a 2D one and we admire all the hard works for pushing VR industry foward. In terms of favorite vidoes for sure there are some of SLR videos in my list. I just wanted to highlight pros and cons of major VR studios.
Any reason not using the DeoVR app. It’s our understanding this is the preferred method to engage with SLR

Hi, is there any progress on this? I initially subscribed to NA + Dream Lover for a month to check these out and they eventually expired, but a little later I actually reupped to NA for a full year, and signed back up to DL. My general mode of using scripts is to have the movies and scripts downloaded rather than have to trust choppy/lower-res streaming (I have a LOT of storage space thanks to VR), and now all the scripts I re-downloaded have stopped working again. The ones I downloaded when you added a bunch a while back are still working but I suspect not for long.
Is this going to be a monthly chore ongoing? Because it’s a bit of a drag to say the least.
Get used to it. They are so concerned that you will pirate their auto-generated scripts that you cannot purchase to own and have to re-download and re-name them every month when they expire. NA/DreamLover is the biggest ripoff in VR.
They gave lip service to improving this when we called them out at the start of it, but they instead took the tried and true corporate ripoff strategy of waiting us out and hoping that new subs don’t notice these threads before buying in.
@eroboy @withy we are actually working to have this removed by hopefully before end of Summer so you will not need to download your script provided you are an active Dreamlover member.
Ok I hope to hear more soon. If that was coupled with the ability to sub for longer for a discount that’d be most welcome too

Out of curiosity, have you compared them with some of the better free scripts that exist for NAVR videos here on ES?
It’s true, they’re definitely not as good, but some of those scenes are unscripted elsewhere. The general trend among scripters is toward the new young slim starlets, which is great, but NA also has a lot of slightly thicker/older bustier type models which are more my thing. I’m crazy about Kayla Kayden etc and they have tons of vids on there, as well as Nikki Benz etc. When I go back from these to the likes of your scripts and SLR the difference in quality is really noticeable. I guess it’s like the old analogy of having hamburger when steak is available.
Thanks for the feedback. I was curious since I got a bunch of saved NAVR videos in my archive that aren’t scripted yet. Usually NAVR videos are annoyingly long so I tend not to script them for that reason, but it’s good to know the quality status of those new semi-auto generated scripts that exist (haven’t tried them).
BTW, the thing with pornstars is that when they age and aren’t casted for any “teen” productions any more most tend to do questionable decisions regarding cosmetic surgery IMHO. They just put in too much silcone, too much lip fillers and so on. Moderation is a word that few seems to care about. That’s the main reason why I don’t script more mature pornstars. Kayla Kayden is beautiful, but I don’t agree with the breast augmentation unfortunately. More stars should look at India Summer who resisted going down that road.
Free scripts here are better then dream lover scripts on NaughtyAmerica. The difference for example, if a girl blowing the guy and is only goin down half way down the penis, the free scripts here matches that. Dream lover script on the other hand does kind of like a full stroke.

Still good IMO but not great like the free scripts found here. Personally, I felt that they had to release tons of scripts in a hurry to get people sign up for 10$ a month or else no one would if they only had like 50 scripts. Now that they actually have tons of scripts on there, hopefully, they focus more on quality rather then quantity. If not, I will cancel my subscription because then it gets ridiculous to pay for those script.
Also, I support the subscription based service. Only because this is a niche industry and I feel like scripters need to be supported so we can keep getting new scripts. Not being able to download and permanently keep the script is not a problem for me because someone is just gonna download all of the scripts, and then post it somewhere online. And I am sure these scripters are not making millions of dollars a year rolling around in Lambos so I don’t mind paying the 10$ a month.
Also, the scripts work with Scriptplayer connected to Whirligig which my favorite player so I am happy about that. Sexlikereal app takes way to long to launch and some videos do not run smoothly even with my Ryzen 3700 and geforce 1660 Ti, and 16 gb ram on SSD drive.
