I’m working on a VR app prototype for Quest and steamVR that supports theHandy. The app is based on another project I worked on, hump feed, which feature short, up to 10 second clips from videos. Mainly for the reason that those are easily accessible in the gifs section of pornhub.
You get to choose between different videos, and for each video, different scenes. If a script haven’t been created for a scene yet, you can create it yourself inside the app.
However, once a script have been made by someone, no one other than the creator or me can change it. For the reason that I wouldn’t want someone to just randomly replace the scripts. But it’s not an ideal solution, so later I’m most likely going to implement a way for scenes to have multiple scripts available, and make it possible to give them likes or dislikes.
I don’t have the handy, I use the OSR2 but I was considering scripting a bunch of 10 second pornhub clips and trying to find a program that would randomize them. I found the 10 seconds to be a little too short for my liking and decided 30 seconds -1 min were a better fit. But I like your idea.

If I can find a good sources for vr porn trailers, I could probably use those to add content that’s longer than 10 seconds. Would also give me more control when it comes to making sure that the clips loop well.
I have found reddit to be a great source for these sort of clips so far. However it takes time going through the posts and most of the time is random what you find. I would advise against trailer like clips that are jumping around like a CH video, because then that is all it is, just another CH video.
@notSafeForDev I tried it and it works really well, even with my shitty Windows MR headset. But could you maybe add an option to move or toggle the overlay please?
