I’ve been here for a while and have used The Handy for a long time before Syncbot came along, and I stand firmly with their technology and future endeavors. The Handy relies too much on outsourced improvement to ever contend with Syncbot. I’m not a paid shill, I’m not some brand enthusiast who drums up attention for a product, I’m simply just a guy who believes that self-love is the best love and trying to achieve the best version of that.
So true… i thought this was just me. I even bought the strap upgrade… doesn’t help much at all. Im constantly readjusting that velcro and it ends up being too tight and stimulating, or it loses grip of the sleeve all together and it ruins my session. This really makes me stray away from the handy.
I disagree with this, It depends on your experience with sex toys and sex (beyond fleshlights and strokers). Your entire penis does not need to be engulfed for sensation. (If you are actually above average this needs no explanation) For the less experienced 0-100 stroke is the go to (or just stroking in general), it’s the only thing that registers with their brain. Ive had an amazing experience with syncbot and im larger than average. I havent once had an issue with the very base of my shaft not being stimulated by the Syncbot during a session. But not everyone has the same sexual experience so there is a disconnect between many users.

I also got the upgraded strap and its the most frutrating part about the Handy for me.

The Handy Company doesn’t make anything other than their pretty lackluster website to play videos/scripts for The Handy. Everything else The Handy relies on to be better is outsourced to other websites or programs to run their scripts.
Syncbot is a one-stop shop for all your video/script/AI needs. They built their own Webbrowser that is integrated with their AI technology to play a vast majority of Pornhub videos with an AI script. This means you can sign into your Pornhub account and make playlists of your favorite AI-generated scripts. If you prefer the more hands-on approach and are looking for quality vs quantity, you can load up the SYNCPLAYER and take scrips and videos from just about anywhere you want and drag and drop them into the player and they will work right then and there.
When I used my Handy, I had to download and save my videos and scripts to specific folders to use them on the website and it was a pain in the ass in VR. As shown in the picture below.
But with Syncbotplayer, all my stuff is in one nice place. As seen below
Again you can also use the Integrated program for Web browsing.
You can also manually turn on specific features of the device using its manual mode in between downtime when doing whatever it is you want to do between videos/scripts.
Can’t do that with The Handy, You either have it on manual mode and have to switch it to Bluetooth mode and connect it to a program for you to get it up and going, which is a total mood killer.
I’ve owned and used The Handy since roughly 2021 and only just recently in 2023 used the Syncplayer. I can’t ever go back to The Handy, it’s just too basic and lacks any true realism to the sensations. You feel like you’re getting fucked by the Syncbot and you feel like your dick is getting the special attention it desires from a blowjob. It handles beat bars masterfully and truly makes JOIs a thing of the future.

Im going to challenge a bit on that statement, specific size.
I think theres a weird thing the scripters discovered with the syncbot scripting. Its pretty recent and people already posted it here but i think it needs to be repeated and clarified.
Directly converting action scripts mighr give you a bad experience with the syncbot. The syncbot feels better when you invert the script. Because down strokes sorta pushes you out because of the strong suction it generates. By inverting it, down strokes becomes up strokes which creates suction and it sucks you in and releases on upstroke. The reason I suspect people get hurt is on down strokes and it pushes you out, its instinctively natural to push it down which could hurt you. I dont even hold my syncbot anymore. I just put it in, prop it on a pillow and its just there. For those who have issues with the “size”, try inverting the scripts.
Also, it helps to have a diff mentality with syncbot. Its not a stroker. If you think of it more of a suction spinning device that can stroke, its a really decent experience.
If you dont want to become an “explorer”, dont buy the device. Im a tinkerer and enthusiast. I paid for my own syncbot. My main prefered device is vr + launch and occasionally my osr. I also use some lovense and kiiroo devices like interactive pulse, lovense gush, calor, etc. its why im very careful in analyzing the strengths and weaknesses of syncbot. Based in my experience with syncbot, its become my main device for 2weeks now. Its faster to setup and clean. I can disassemble and reassemble it in the dark lol.

It’s strange that there has been so much comparison between the SyncBot and the Handy, when the OP is actually struggling between VR or a second toy. They already have a Handy and they know how it feels.
Both are quality products. If you urge to explore VR content in the upcoming year, I would recommend spending on a headset. You already have a decent toy to go with it.
Fun fact: By the date of this post, SyncBot does not have native VR support in their software yet. It is expected to arive by the end of the month. If someone tells you “VR + SyncBot = Noice”, it is either an estimation, or experience from a product insider.
I am also a SyncBot affiliate and whilst I may benefit from your interest in the product, I don’t think it’s fair to interfere with your financial decision.

You can still use the device in VR, you can still use the Web Browser and the Syncplayer in VR. You just can’t use full Video VR to get that typical VR Video experience.
Personally. I use airlink with my syncbot for 2d content. I mostly dabble in audio based scripts and got a lot of old 2d scripts over the years

…just to clarify, cos you’ll all find this terribly amusing, i would still consider buying a Syncbot. That is indeed how powerful the primal urge to stick my cock in some weird arcane bit of technology is. However, that comes with caveats, i’m sure i am within the correct physical specifications, people i trust use it and are scripting for it, and fundamentally i am lucky enough to be in a position where i can enjoy sinking stupid amounts of cash into an ever more increasingly bizarre gamble of sextek. If there’s a chance it might be a waste of valuable coin, and it is a lot of coin for a fuck machine, then people without that luxury really do need to know in advance…
But if it was a toss up between Syncbot and a Quest 3, then fer sure the Quest 3 kinda dominates in every field (except the bit about physically jacking you…), and VR sex, to put it bluntly, FUCKING ROCKS…!!!1!! And it does weird shit with your living room…

I’ll say this as someone who does not yet have a Syncbot but is totally going to get one. I think I’d recommend the Quest 3 as well. The Handy is GREAT in ways that the Syncbot probably never will be unless they make a different version (the customization and stroke length are prime examples). I really want to experience it still because I’ve craved multi-axis stimulation HOWEVER what I will say is that the Quest 3 absolutely blew my mind. I have experienced VR from headsets since about 2019 now and gone through 2-3 different headsets. Once I got the Quest 3 though, it totally changed my perception of VR. No longer is VR just virtual screens that sorta give you the perception of being in a virtual world, no way, with Quest 3’s incredible good passthrough mode, the world of VR is how I envisioned that it SHOULD be from Day 1 of such technology.
Being able to walk around your house or room with your headset on in Passthrough mode almost as if you were just wearing see-through, clear goggles is mind blowing. Seeing my own body and hands with incredible FPS registering is just uncanny. It’s hard to believe at times that it’s not actually my hands but rather a video SHOWING me how the outside world actually looks. In other words, it feels more like a glass layer/plastic layer rather than a video screen. It’s THAT good. Albeit, in darker lighting the image quality can be a bit blurrier but it’s STILL convincing when you’re focusing on the fact that the VR woman in your bed sucking your member looks like she’s really there. The first time you experience passthrough VR porn, it feels the way VR porn ALWAYS SHOULD HAVE wherein the sex scene isn’t just you in some absurd voyeur experience where you watch this dude and his super harry arms get fucked by some 20 year old pornstar, no, now it FEELS like you.
I currently use the Handy and the Quest 3. I’ll definitely try the Syncbot as I mentioned above, but the Quest 3 I think is a far bigger game changer than the Syncbot is so far. I don’t want to downplay what the Syncbot brings to the table, just that, believe me, if you are seeking immersion, what the Quest 3 offers as far as immersion is far greater than maybe a little suction and extra stimulation would bring. The Handy and Quest 3 combo I use currently STILL makes me feel like I’m the one in the scene. Hell, you know what? It doesn’t even feel like a “Scene” anymore, it doesn’t feel like I’M in the scene, it feels like the woman in the VR Video is the one in MY room on MY chair or on MY bed. It’s mindblowing. From what I’ve heard so far tho, the Syncbot is GREAT but DIFFERENT to the Handy. They’re different machines with different mindsets for their creation. The Handy wasn’t necessarily invented to simulate specifically blowjobs or some particular sex act except maybe handjobs or just serve as a vehicle for other sleeves/masturbators. That is still INCREDIBLY cool and dynamic. It’s a great toy. I started with the Fleshlight launch and it’s an improvement over that in almost every way except that the Launch seemed to have more “torque” or thrust or whatever. It had a more powerful motor in other words with more impact, but the Handy of course has far, far, far more speed, longer strokes, more finesse, more subtlety as well and so on. The versatility of the Handy I think is probably what will keep it on top of most people’s lists. Thus far, I don’t find that while using the Handy with Quest 3 and passthrough porn or otherwise that I think “hmmm this isn’t immersive, it doesn’t feel real enough”. Granted, I’ve used the Handy long enough now that I crave a little different excitement but in other words, still, if you’re looking for MORE IMMERSION, then the Quest 3 and Handy is a great combo and you’re better off going for the Quest 3.
ON THE OTHER HAND. If you’re looking for more stimulation of your member and don’t really have the biggest desire for VR fantasies or having some pornstar appear on your bed as if she might sorta kinda be there like she’s a ghost, then maybe Syncbot first? Like are you the kind of person who is more interested in JOI vids, music videos, 2D edging vids, hentai vids, 3d animation vids and so on? Then hey, maybe Syncbot is a more interesting purchase before VR. You make a compelling argument for justifying the Quest 3 Svanir. I have a Quest 2 and the Airlink is decent, but you’re also stuck in some big white room that can’t be changed.
I wish I could see what the passthrough VR Porn looks like because you make it sound like a truly next-level innovation in VR technology.
Most importantly, do your own research. More of this site is paid advertising at this point than not, so treat “opinions” accordingly. The VR experience is absolutely worth the price, and opens up new experiences like virtamate on top of vr scripts. I’d also recommend the OSR if you’re looking for more from a toy. The Handy has a stroke length of 3.9". If that’s all somebody needs, great, but it doesn’t cover the average penis size. An OSR can stroke up to 9", moves full size fleshlights easily, and can have multi axis movement and twist if you want it. Full coverage of stroke length makes accurately scripted VR a LOT more immersive. The syncbot’s ~2" stroke length isn’t appropriate for accurately recreating the sensation of anything but head play. So if that’s all you ever want to feel, go nuts.

If you’re considering the Syncbot, make sure they can ship to you. I live in a U.S territory but they had to refund me due to shipping issues with their courier. Which doesn’t really make sense because I never had shipping issues with UPS or DHL.
I did have a pleasant experience with their logistics team and getting refunded.
I would still like to purchase a Syncbot mainly due to Slibowitz Syncbot review (his Aisha bunny script is still one of my top 5). I’m just waiting till they can ship to where I’m at before I can order one.
