⭐ MiraBot SR6 + Multiple New Fleshlight Sleeves Review - 1 Month, First Time SR6 Owner

TL;DR

8/10, fantastic hardware but software still needs work as of July 4, 2026.

After about three to four weeks with the MiraBot SR6, I can confidently say I am extremely happy with my purchase. This is the first automatic stroker I have used that actually feels like a serious, premium sexual wellness device rather than a gimmick or novelty toy.

The hardware is excellent. The build quality feels high end. The motors are strong. The unit is surprisingly quiet. It handles larger anatomy well. Once I figured out the right settings, the experience went from “interesting but underwhelming” to genuinely mind blowing and literally leaving a grin on my face. Mind. Blown.

That said, this is not a perfect product. Much like their Japanese vehicle counterparts, the hardware is far ahead of the software. MiraPlay/MiraPlay.fun works, but the interface needs a lot of polish, better tutorials, better calibration guidance, custom motion saving, web based script sharing, and a much better way to create scripts. The wiring and cable management could also be improved.

Even with those criticisms, I would absolutely buy the MiraBot SR6 again. For me, the device itself is a 8/10. The software is closer to a 5/10. The overall experience, once dialed in, is excellent. This is about as plug and play as it goes in the SR6 world.


Notes:

This is a big purchase for many so I’ve decided to take the time and be really thorough/document my experience. I’m writing this because at the time, I could only ever find two MiraBot SR6 reviews and hardly any reviews when it came to which Fleshlight sleeves to use with an SR6.

Throughout the review, I’ve left key feedback points for MiraBot, each denoted by a “:star:”. @Gesmax please pass this along to your R&D team, I would greatly appreciate it. I am also open to working with MiraBot and shooting over ideas to help with any of the things I suggested.

This is my first post on here as I generally just research, Eroscript is definitely the best website for all things SR6 related. This is not a paid review, I bought it with my own money for my own needs. While positive in some areas, I’m pretty critical in others. I tried to keep this as objective as possible. My goal is to help anyone interested in a MiraBot SR6 or interested in the Fleshlight sleeves for SR6 use. These were things I very much wish I could have found when researching before this purchase. So I hope that my thoroughness helps someone.

Why I Bought It :money_with_wings:

For context, I am a male in my 30s with a high libido. I bought the SR6 because I wanted a healthier and more disciplined way to manage my sexual needs during a stressful period of life. I bought it is that I anticipate being single in the near future, and I genuinely want to take at least a year away from women, dating, and sex while I get my life in order. I wanted something that could help me stay focused, deal with my libido in a healthy way, and not feel like sex was constantly taking up mental space.Really and truly I bought this as a tool to help me improve my life.

Another one of my main goals was to avoid falling into excessive hand masturbation or porn use because once wasn’t enough. I think porn and masturbation are completely fine but I think, like anything, moderation is key. I did not want to train myself into “death grip” habits or lower my sensitivity by manually stroking over and over. I didn’t want 20 tabs open, trying to find the right video. If I was going to masturbate, I wanted the session to be high quality, satisfying, and closer to the feeling of sex or oral rather than just mindless manual stimulation. And done.

I also wanted something that would help with discipline. My thinking was that if I had a device that could reliably give me a very satisfying orgasm, I would be more likely to wait for private time, use the device intentionally, and then be done. That is exactly what has happened. I have mostly stopped masturbating by hand in favor of using the MiraBot, and I feel like it has actually helped preserve or improve my sensitivity because I am no longer relying on my hand. There are indeed cheaper ways of doing this, such as simply buying a Fleshlight. But I have to say, there’s something about the added hand free multi axis motion of this device that leaves users far more satisfied than just a Fleshlight would.

In that sense, the SR6 has absolutely met the goal. It has given me a reliable outlet, improved the quality of my solo sessions, and made me feel much more sexually satisfied overall.


Why I Chose the MiraBot SR6 :magnifying_glass_tilted_left:

I researched SR6 options for about two months before buying. I looked at different builders, DIY options, 3D-printed options, and cheaper alternatives. I ultimately chose the MiraBot version because it looked the most like a finished commercial product.

I am a big believer in “buy once, cry once.” I knew the MiraBot was more expensive than many other options, but I did not want a project. I did not want to get into 3D printing. I did not want to piece together parts. I did not want something that felt like it came out of someone’s garage, even if that might have saved money.

I am a dad. I am busy. I have limited private time. I wanted something that was as turnkey as possible. The MiraBot looked clean, polished, and premium. The motors seemed strong. I did not see much about overheating issues. The support reputation seemed good. The whole design looked like something I could buy, assemble quickly, use, and store without having to turn it into a hobby.

After owning it, I feel like I made the right choice. This really does feel like the “buy once, cry once” SR6 option.


Ordering, Shipping, and Packaging :open_mailbox_with_raised_flag:

I ordered from MiraBot in Japan, and their shipping estimate was accurate. It took around 13 to 14 days total to arrive at my house. From what I could tell, it took about a week to get from Japan to Los Angeles, then about another week to reach me.

The packaging was excellent. Everything was carefully wrapped, protected, and clean. Opening the box felt like opening a premium commercial product, not a random hobby build. That first impression mattered to me because this is not a cheap device. Each item was meticulously wrapped and sealed in premium matte white plastic and carefully wrapped in foam sheets. The box had very thick styrofoam padding. All of it screamed “premium”. It was also very discreet and had no “SEX ROBOT IN HERE, THIS GUY IS AN ABSOLUTE GOONER” label, lol.

It gave me the sense that I had bought something serious.


What I Bought

I purchased the full premium kit from MiraBot for $599 USD. The kit included the SR6, the Fleshlight heated sleeve holder, the twist module, the MiraLube system, the heating rod, the drying rod, the cleaning kit, 3D glasses, and MiraBot’s included sleeve.

The included sleeve reminds me a lot of a Fleshlight Stamina Training Unit style sleeve. It is not bad at all, though I ended up using other sleeves more. I think for most people, they’d be perfectly happy with this sleeve. Don’t feel like you have to go out and buy a bunch of Fleshlights because you purchased this SR6.

The 3D glasses felt like a gimmick to me. I did not really use them and I don’t think anyone will really use them all that much. They feel really cheap.

The heating rod and drying rod, however, were excellent. I was honestly surprised by how effective they were. I previously had a OEM Fleshlight warmer, and I always felt like it was underpowered or took too long. The MiraBot heating rod gets the sleeve properly warm in only a few minutes. It actually gets warm enough that there were a couple of times where I inserted and immediately thought it was a little too hot, like dipping your toe into a hot tub. I simply pulled out, let it cool for 20 seconds or so, and resumed. I have not noticed any damage to my sleeves from the warmer, and overall I am extremely happy with that accessory.

The cleaning brush is also extremely handy. I didn’t think I’d ever use it much but scrubbing out your textures with warm soapy water is really great with the brush they included.

Cleaning and drying sleeves is always one of the annoying parts of using Fleshlights or similar products, and this made the whole process much easier.


Assembly and Setup :wrench:

Assembly was much easier than I expected. Most of the unit came preassembled. All I really had to do was attach the sleeve body holder (a simple single twist), install the twist module (as easy as twisting on a Fleshlight cap), mount the MiraLube system (Four thumb screws), and connect everything.

It took me about 15 minutes total. I actually did it all without any of the instruction videos because it was so straight forward. But afterwards, I did go ahead and watch a couple to ensure I connected everything in the right order; namely the wires to the actual SR6 PCB. Here are the MiraBot Instruction videos if you’d like to see what it consists of. The videos are excellent, very concise and on brand for a premium product.

The only minor issue I had during assembly was that a small piece of filament or debris seemed to be stuck in one of the SR6’s female threads. When I went to screw into that spot, it jammed a little. I backed the screw out, cleared the obstruction, and reassembled it without issue.

Connecting it to my PC was also straightforward. I chose to use USB and Wi-Fi mode. I updated the firmware after receiving it to the 1.3 version and did not have any major issue during the initial update.

For a device that looks intimidating at first, setup was honestly not bad.


Storage and Privacy :locked:

Because I have a wife and kids, I obviously do not leave this thing sitting out. I store it in the original box it came in. That has worked well so far. But if anyone has any other ideas for storage, please feel free to drop them in a reply below.

From stored condition to ready to use, setup takes me around 10 minutes. That includes getting it out, plugging things in, opening MiraPlay, logging in, and getting everything ready.

Now that I am familiar with it, the physical setup feels easy. Honestly, it usually takes me longer to get relaxed, get in the mood, and find something I want to watch than it takes to set up the device.

Preheating the sleeve only takes about 2 minutes at most. Maybe 1 minute if you use both the heated case and sleeve warmer that actually inserts into the Fleshlight which I highly recommend.


First Uses: Underwhelming at First :thinking:

This may come as a shock from such a positive review but my first 3-4 uses were honestly underwhelming. At the time, I owned these four sleeves:

I tried all four on the MiraBot SR6, and none of those first sessions really impressed me. Some took too long, some felt lackluster, and some just did not work well for me. At first, I blamed the sleeves. I couldn’t orgasm with any of them. I finally was able to achieve success with the MiraBot included STU sleeve but the orgasm was a 2/10 at best. Frustrating.

I did a lot of reading online, and I kept seeing people recommend looser sleeves for SR6 use. One sleeve that came up a lot was the Abigail Mack Lust Fleshlight. People also talked about centered holes being better for automation. Since I usually prefer tighter, higher stimulation sleeves, I wondered if maybe my normal sleeve preferences were the problem. I also became very worried because traditionally, I always simply threw a Fleshlight under a mattress and would thrust into it. Since I wasn’t doing any of the work, I was worried my big purchase wouldn’t work on me.

But in hindsight, I do not think the SR6 or the sleeves were the real issue.

The real issue was that I was relying too much on the default motions and premade movements/scripts on the MiraFun.play website. I was mostly just speeding them up or slowing them down. As a newcomer, that seemed logical, but it was not the right way to get the best experience from the MiraBot SR6. I had even attempted some of the free/premade scripts from this website but wasn’t having luck for what best stimulates me and my unique body. That’s when the machine came to life.


The Turning Point: Dialing In the Right Motion :compass:

Once I sat down and actually learned how to control the software better, the entire experience changed.

For me, the best setup has not been some complicated script or synced video. It has been a fairly simple up and down stroke with a twist that runs the whole length of the full stroke. Once I found the right stroke length, speed, and twist combination, the device started feeling extremely close to a high quality blowjob but…with a vagina texture, almost? Not “kind of like it.” Extremely close. Here was the first and my go to setup, in case someone wants to use it:

That was the turning point. I realized I had been incorrectly blaming the sleeves when the bigger issue was that I had not dialed in the movement. After this, I incorporated just a little bit of slow sway and gyration to emulate a female not being perfectly still. That’s the beauty of a multi axis device, being able to replicate human error/inconsistency in the experience.

This all may be obvious to people who are already deep into this hobby, but as a new user and brand new to this whole thing, it was not obvious to me. My early mistake was thinking that the default patterns should work well if I just adjusted the speed. In reality, the SR6 is only as good as the motion you give it.

Once I found the right motion, the device became incredible.

With the right sleeve and these basic 700/90 settings, I can usually finish very quickly, often in less than a minute, sometimes around 30 seconds if I am relaxed and in the right mood. For context, this is unheard of for me. I usually take a minimum of 5-10 minutes by hand and with sex but can draw it out up to an hour if needed and edge. I also realized that the key is not just speed, as I tried it faster as well. Too fast and you wont get a full rotation or an adequate thrust. It is the stroke pattern, the rotation, the sleeve, the warmth, and actually relaxing instead of tensing up. After figuring out the right stroke settings, I was able to add in other small movements to make it feel realistic.

My best sessions have been when I recline in my office chair, put my legs up on the desk, and just let the machine do the work. I truly felt like a king. :crown:

That said, the scripts are nice too. Here’s one I found on here that worked great for me but I do wish I could add some twist to the thrusts:

But I also admit, it’s probably just because the woman’s build is truly 10/10 for me which is what really locked me in to do a form of stimulation that I don’t normally partake in.

Sleeve Testing and Rankings :flashlight:

After my first few underwhelming sessions (before I realized it was the default Custom Motions), I ordered several more sleeves. Some were on my bucket list anyway, and it was around Father’s Day, so I treated myself.

The sleeves I added were:

  • Abigail Mack Lust
  • Vanna Bardot Dopamine
  • Kazumi Kumzumi
  • Autumn Falls Cream
  • Megan Rain Thunder

After testing them, I definitely agree with the idea I’ve seen everywhere that sleeves change dramatically when used with automation. A sleeve that feels one way by hand can feel totally different when used with an SR6.

However, I do not fully agree with the common advice that looser sleeves are always better for SR6 use. I understand why people say it. Looser sleeves can reduce drag, work better with motion, and feel more natural with automation. But I personally still prefer higher stimulation sleeves once the SR6 is properly tuned. I also found zero issues with using a sleeve with a hole that isn’t perfectly centered. Most Fleshlights have a built in offset to allow a nice firm pressing of a man’s nerve packed penile frenulum against the texture. This offset caused zero issues when using Twist or any of the movements.

As for the new sleeves:

1. Vanna Bardot Dopamine

This is my clear favorite.

Once I used the Dopamine sleeve with my dialed in motion, I had one of the most intense orgasms I have had in years. That was the moment the purchase fully clicked for me. It was extremely intense, long, satisfying, and left me completely out of breath. This was session 5-6 for me and I was blown away. I no longer questioned if I had spent a ton of money for nothing.

Since then, Dopamine has become my go to sleeve. It is the one I use when I want a guaranteed result. It is highly stimulating, intense, and works extremely well with my preferred motion. For me, this is the best sleeve I have tested on the SR6 so far.

If I want to finish quickly and reliably, this is the sleeve I reach for.

2. Kazumi Kumzumi

Kumzumi is my number two.

It is looser than Dopamine, but still very stimulating. A lot of people describe it as feeling like a sloppy oral style sleeve, and I understand that description. It is not loose in a boring way, though. It still gives enough stimulation to stay engaging.

To me, it almost feels like a looser version of Dopamine. It is less intense, but still excellent. If Dopamine is my “maximum intensity” sleeve, Kumzumi is my “slightly looser but still very satisfying” sleeve. Great if I want to extend the session just a little bit and enjoy that raw pleasure.

3. Autumn Falls Cream / Megan Rain Thunder

These are both solid for me.


I would rate both around a 7 out of 10. They are enjoyable, stimulating, and absolutely usable, but they did not reach the same level as Dopamine or Kumzumi.

I would not call them bad at all. They just are not my top two with the SR6. One thing I will note is that Cream is significanlty easier to lube up and Thunder takes a surprising about of lube due to the complex texture.

4. Abigail Mack Lust

The Abigail Mack Lust sleeve is good, but for a different purpose.

I understand why people recommend it for SR6 use. It is looser, comfortable, and the opening is more centered. It works well with automation. It is especially good if you want to relax, edge, watch something, and enjoy a longer session without overwhelming stimulation.

For me personally, it was not the most intense sleeve. I had a good orgasm with it, probably around a 6 out of 10, but it did not compare to Dopamine.

I would recommend Abigail Mack Lust for relaxed stroking and edging. I would not personally rank it as the best sleeve for maximum intensity. I will definitely give it another go soon.

I need to go back and give Bombshell, Lvl Up and Boss Lvl another shot before I’m able to add them to the review. They’re all three great sleeves, especially Bombshell. Really interested in seeing how they perform with this custom movement I’ve figured out. That said, it’s kind of hard to go to them when I know Dopamine and Kumzumi are going to work so well. I am but a man.


Anatomy and Fit :eggplant:

This may be relevant for some buyers: I am above average in size at 8.8 inches/22.4 cm in length and 6.6 inches/15.5 cm in girth and with a partial circumcision. I have had problems with other automatic strokers and with some prior sexual partners because of my size.

The Fleshlight Launch did not work well for me. The stroke length felt too short, almost like it was only stimulating 1/3 of my shaft. I also had issues with sleeves popping out due to resistance. I think I used it maybe five times before it went into storage. I’d use it, get disappointed and put it away for 2-3 months. I also remember the motor would frequently seized up/wasn’t powerful enough and the plastic strap that held the case would constantly slip off the Fleshlight case. Super frustrating. The batteries always phantom drained as well.

I also tried one of the automatic strokers from Amazon last year, the kind with a contained spinning/twisting mechanism and a short internal sleeve:

That was also not good for me. The sleeve was too short, the motors would jam the minute I entered the small sleeve, and it felt like it was only stimulating the tip. I could technically finish with it if I really tried, but it was not enjoyable or premium. The twist was sort of nice but to my surprise, it would end up causing chaffing/irritation. Even with tons of lube.

The MiraBot SR6 is the first automatic device I have used that actually feels like it can handle my anatomy properly. It gives a real stroke, full length of the shaft down to the hilt, has strong enough motors for any movement I program, and does not feel undersized or underpowered.

For larger users, that is a major point in its favor. Anytime I used the prior devices, I found myself wishing I were closer to average because only getting a 1/3 stroke or only stimulating the head wasn’t cutting it.


Twist Module :cyclone:

It’s an absolute game changer.

Frequently (as many of you have done the same) I would twist my Fleshlights when using them by hand and loved the feeling. The twist module does that and it’s so damn good. You can really tweak the speed and rotation of the twist to your preferred amount. Personally, I enjoy a nice steady twist in time with the stroke. Similar to how a woman would twist her hands during a blowjob.


T-Valve Air Control Module :wind_face:

The T-Valve module took some getting used to.


I have historically used Fleshlights with the cap almost closed because I like some resistance. I like the feeling of resistance going in, similar to thrusting into a vagina. The twist module feels different because it tends to feel looser going in, then adds twist and suction on the way out.

At first, that was the opposite of what I was used to. Over time, though, I have come to like it. It adds a different type of stimulation and improves the overall experience. At first, I actually took it off to try the regular cap again. But I soon found myself returning to it as I realized a Fleshlight simply feels a lot different when automated vs thrusting into it hands free.

:star: One feature I would love to see in MiraPlay is the ability to reverse or customize the twist behavior. I think some users would prefer the opposite action, with more resistance or twist on insertion rather than withdrawal. More control over twist timing and direction would be a great addition.


MiraLube System :sweat_droplets:

The MiraLube system is one of the weaker parts of the hardware package in its stock form. But once modified, I found it to be so dang nice. Being able to just press a button and add lube and not make a giant mess all over your hands is truly a luxury I didn’t know I needed.

At first, I had a lot of problems with it. I initially tried Gun Oil, a silicone based lube. I know that is generally not recommended for Fleshlight sleeves, but I was using it with the included MiraBot sleeve and wanted to experiment. It seemed to gum up or clog the tubing system. I tried really diluting it and the pump wouldn’t pump it at all.

I disassembled the MiraLube system to clear the tubing. Tried again with just water. No luck, despite the system being 100% cleared. After that, I switched to water based lube and still: the pump was not dispensing as well as it appeared to in videos. It wouldn’t even make the motor sound for more than 1 second before going quiet.

Eventually, I opened it up and modified the tubing. The MiraLube pump works kind of like an IV pump. It uses rotating wheels to compress tubing and push fluid through the line.

There’s two different diameters of tubing, a thin one that leads to the sleeve – another “fat” tubing that draws up fluid from the bottle. In the stock setup, the wheels seemed to be working against a thicker piece of tubing with thinner walls, and it did not pump effectively for me. You can see in this image where the thicker tube comes out of the machine and uses an adapter to interface with the thin coiled tubing:

I also noticed the fat tubing kinked very easily, making even more resistance and trouble for the motor.

First, I repositioned things so the pump wheels compressed the thinner tubing instead of the thicker tubing. The small plastic adapter was place in a spot that keeps the tubing from winding up into the device with use, it works flawlessly as you can see here:

Then I simply took the long excess thick tubing and cut it so that it perfectly bottomed out at the bottom of the bottle that holds lubricant. I did multiple tests with Gun Oil H2O and had fantastic results.

This made a significant difference. The lube dispensed much more effectively and powerfully afterward.

I also removed a small white bead inside the motor section because I could not determine what it was doing. After the modification, the system worked much better.

Another benefit was that it shortened the tubing length. I did not like the extra tubing hitting my leg during use, so the shorter setup was more comfortable and cleaner.

I made sure to test the tubing length at all angles before cutting anything, and I had no issue with it reaching the SR6 afterward.

:star: Another recommendation to MiraBot would be to look closely at the tubing layout. The pump concept is good, but the stock tubing arrangement seems like it could be improved.


Wiring, Connectors, and Cable Management :electric_plug:

The wiring is probably the weakest part of the hardware.

The main unit itself feels excellent, but the wires leading to the modules feel too exposed. I would like to see those wires properly sleeved, shielded, or reinforced. For a premium device, the cable design should feel more durable.

I added black heat shrink to some of the wire ends and plastic connector ends. That made a big improvement. It reduced stress on the wires, made the connectors easier to remove, and made the whole thing feel cleaner and more durable.


I also did some cable management with mine. MiraBot should include Velcro ties or some kind of cable management solution in the box. It would not cost much, and it would make the whole setup feel much more polished.

I also wish MiraBot would move away from the older USB-A/USB-B style connectors. In 2026, a premium device like this should be using USB-C wherever possible. The older connectors work, but they make the device feel less modern than the rest of the hardware deserves.

To be clear, none of this ruins the device. But it is one of the main areas where MiraBot could make the product feel even more premium. These are also easy upgrades to implement for existing customers, since many of the wires aren’t soldered into each module.

:star: MiraBot, please give us sleeved wires for a significant improvement in durability, some Velcro strips for cable management and switch to USB-C for most connections.


Noise :speaker_high_volume:

The unit is much quieter than I expected.

Compared with videos I have seen of other SR6 builds, the MiraBot seems very quiet. The arms are the quietest part. The twist module is not bad either. The loudest component is the T-valve.

When I turned off or unplugged the T-valve, the device became extremely quiet. With headphones on, the noise is not really an issue for me at all.

The T-valve noise is noticeable, but not a dealbreaker. I have actually come to like the function enough that the noise does not bother me much.


Heat and Long Sessions :hot_springs:

For normal sessions, I have had no heat issues.

Most of my sessions are around 10 to 30 minutes total, including setup, getting relaxed, use, and cleanup. During normal use, I have no concerns.

I did test it once for a longer session, around 2 hours, just to see how it handled extended use. By the end, the device was definitely warm. Very warm, even. But it did not feel like it was going to melt, fail, or do anything alarming. It also cooled down quickly.

Based on my experience, I do not foresee the same kind of overheating or melting concerns I have seen mentioned with some other devices. That said, it does get warm during long use, so that is worth knowing. But it seems all SR6’s getting warm with long use. I’m not 100% certain but I believe I read that MiraBot implemented some sort of auto shut off system if it gets too warm. But again, I might be thinking of one of the warming modules. Not an actual motor protective sensor.


Desk Mount :clamp:

The mount is surprisingly well thought out. It provides a rock solid interface to any table. The only negative, as I saw another reviewer deal with, was the adhesive on the non-slip rubber pads doesn’t stick very well. I anticipate on using some acrylic cement to fix these pads onto the mount. For desk use, the mount is great.

I’m also still looking into some sort of hands free bed solutions. I’m still researching different methods on here, using the VESA pattern mounting system. It would be really cool if MiraBot developed their own solution to this problem. But the desk mount is as solid as they come.


MiraPlay / MiraFun Software :mobile_phone_with_arrow:

:star: The software is the biggest weakness of the product. It needs a complete overhaul.

The hardware feels premium. The software does not. The software feels like a cheap eBay sex toy packaging. I would rate the current software around a 5/10. It works, and I appreciate that MiraBot is actively updating it, but the interface needs a major overhaul.

The UI does not feel as clean, professional, or modern as the device itself. The device has this premium, white, almost Apple like hardware aesthetic. The software should match that. Instead, parts of the software still feel hobbyist, cluttered, and not very intuitive.

I also think they should get rid of the cheap AI generated anime girl aesthetic.

It does not match the product. MiraBot has made a very professional looking, high end device. The software should look equally clean and premium.

The YouTube function also does not make much sense to me. You’re supposed to navigate YouTube (and ONLY YouTube), find a suggestive video and then separately upload your script. Then you have to quickly press play on your script and then separately press play on the YouTube video. Insanely clunky.

Also – why am I restricted to YouTube videos on the PC Web Browser version of MiraPlay but the app allows you to browse any website? I understand that adult content laws may be different in Japan, but for most adult users, YouTube is not the platform they are using with a product like this. I think MiraBot would be much better served by creating a universal browser, better local video/script workflow, and eventually a web-based script-sharing ecosystem.

The gesture sync is okay. Honestly, I’ve used to more as a diagnostics/testing tool for range of motion than anything for pleasure.

The current software also needs better tutorials. For a new user, it is not obvious what everything does. I would like to see clearer instructions for each section, especially calibration and custom motion creation.


Software Feature Requests :light_bulb:

The biggest thing MiraPlay needs is a better script creation tool.

I do not want to download a bunch of different programs, hunt for scripts, sync files manually, and manage a whole library just to use the device. I would love for MiraBot to build an easy script editor directly into MiraPlay.

The ideal version would let you load a video and create a script inside the app. For example, you could watch the video and click or tap every time a thrust happens. The app could place those inputs on a timeline, similar to a simple video editor like iMovie. Then you could do another pass for twist, another pass for angle, and so on.

Basically:

  1. First pass: stroke timing and depth.
  2. Second pass: twist.
  3. Third pass: angles and other movements.
  4. Then a simple timeline editor to clean it up.

That would make script creation much more accessible for normal users. It would also give people a reason to stay inside the MiraPlay ecosystem. I’m sure something like this already exists out there for SR6 users but I haven’t gone looking just yet. For the price of this device, I feel this basic feature should be built in. MiraBot needs to focus heavily on the software aspect to keep people within your eco system for ease of use.

I also think MiraPlay needs better calibration support. The calibration section should show a animation or picture of the actual MiraBot SR6 with labels for each pivot point and movement. It should show what a proper neutral position looks like. Even better would be a guided calibration wizard that walks you step by step through each point.

For example:

“Move this arm to this position, then click OK.”

That would be much easier than expecting new users to figure it all out on their own.


Web Based Script Sharing :cloud:

:star:Another major feature I would love to see is a built in web based script sharing system inside MiraPlay.

MiraPlay already has a built in web browser concept, but I think MiraBot could take that much further. Ideally, users should be able to open a video through the MiraPlay.fun website/MiraPlay app, create a script directly inside the app, then save and share that script with the MiraBot community without requiring everyone to download the video and script files separately. I want to be able to open a video’s URL and the MiraPlay browser load up the script for the link. Then all I have to do is press play once and they automatically sync up.

For example, a user could create a script for a specific online video, save it, and then share a link to that script. Other MiraBot users could click the shared post, open the same video through MiraPlay, and immediately use the community made script. The community could then rate the script, comment on it, and help surface the best ones. I know this is essentially what EroScripts is but the majority of the scripts on here are for The Handy or OSR2. Again, I just want to see something made by MiraPlay for the MiraBot. I’ve tried many scripts and I don’t feel that most of them fully utilize the full capability of the MiraBot SR6.

This would be a huge improvement over the current workflow, where users often have to download videos, find matching scripts, organize files, sync them manually, and deal with multiple tools. A web-based script-sharing system would make the whole experience much easier, cleaner, and more social.

This would also give MiraPlay a real community advantage. Instead of just being a control app, it could become the central place where MiraBot users create, share, rate, and discover scripts.


Custom Motion Library :books:

:star:Another feature I would like to see is the ability to add, remove, rename, and save custom motions.

Right now, MiraPlay gives you a set number of generic preset motions. You can adjust the settings, but you cannot really build your own local motion library in the way I would like. It would be much better if users could create their own custom motions, name them, save them, organize them, and load them instantly.

For example, if I create a motion that works perfectly for me, I should be able to save it as something like “Oral Stroke,” “Slow Edge,” “Dopamine Fast Finish,” or whatever name makes sense to me. Then I should be able to pull it up instantly instead of having to modify one of the default presets every time.

The SR6 hardware is extremely customizable, but the software does not yet make customization feel as easy or personal as it should. Custom saved motions and web-based script sharing would make MiraPlay feel much more complete.

The hardware feels like a premium commercial product, but the software still feels like it is missing the ecosystem that would make the SR6 truly shine. MiraPlay should not just control the device. It should be the place where users create motions, save personal presets, build scripts, share scripts, rate community scripts, and easily access the best content without constantly downloading and syncing files manually. If they really worked on this, I could see them even selling the software to all SR6 users, even those who don’t own a MiraBot made device. People will chase clean software that makes their life easy. MiraBot should capitalize on that.


Firmware Issue and Customer Support :sos_button:

CS is fantastic.

I did have one technical issue after a few days. After the firmware update, I started noticing the MiraBot would constantly disconnect from Wi-Fi. When I plugged it into my computer, the PC did not recognize it properly. I could not reflash it normally. When I attempted to follow the online reflashing instructions, it seemed to break the unit further, and the arms would not even raise when I plugged it in.

That was frustrating.

Fortunately, MiraBot support was excellent. I contacted them, and they responded quickly. They made changes on their end that allowed me to bypass the error and successfully flash the firmware again. Once I did that, the device came right back up.

I sent them the information about what happened, and overall the support experience gave me more confidence in the company. It felt like dealing with an actual company, not just a random private seller answering emails from a phone.

For a device this expensive and technical. So customers having solid support matters.


The “I Finally Get It” Moment :star_struck:

One thing I did not expect from the MiraBot SR6 was that it would give me a version of an experience I have mostly only seen women describe with high end sex toys.

Online, you will often see women talk about buying a really good vibrator, dildo, or thrusting machine and having that “I’m completely set” moment. The kind of moment where they say, half-joking and half-serious, that once they bought the right toy, they realized they did not necessarily need a partner just to be sexually satisfied.

As a man, I never really thought I would have that experience. Most male toys I have tried were either too weak, too small, too short in stroke length, too gimmicky, or simply not realistic enough to fully replace the feeling of a high-quality sexual encounter. I think there is a huge opportunity for MiraBot to create a version of this device for women or for anyone who wants to use penetrative toys. The SR6 platform already has strong motors, multi-axis movement, twist, angle control, and highly customizable motion. With the right mount system, it seems like this could be adapted into a compact thrusting platform for dildos, vibrators, rabbit style attachments, or other penetrative toys.

A lot of women, both younger and older, already buy thrusting machines for sexual wellness. The problem is that many of those machines are large, loud, awkward, and difficult to hide. I mean look at this damn thing:

The bigger machines can look like industrial equipment, and the smaller mini versions often seem underpowered or poorly reviewed.


There appears to be a gap in the market for something compact, powerful, discreet, customizable, and premium for anyone seeking to be penetrated but wanting a realistic feeling device. I encourage anyone reading this to go on Amazon or Reddit and search up men and women reviewing the Hismith, it gives great insight.

That is where I think MiraBot could have a real opportunity.

A female focused or penetrative version of the SR6 could potentially offer the same kind of six-axis customization that makes the current device so effective. Instead of just simple in and out thrusting that even the $1,000 USD high end Hismith machine only does, users wanting penetration could have control over stroke depth, speed, angle, twist, rocking motion, and custom scripts. That could be a major advantage over traditional thrusting machines.

It could also expand the MiraPlay ecosystem. If women or penetrative toy users were able to create, save, share, and rate scripts the same way male users could, the community would become much larger and more useful. Different users want different motions, and a customizable six-axis platform could let people dial in exactly what works for their bodies.

I do not think this would replace simple, discreet toys like vibrators or standard dildos. Those will always have their place because they are easy, quiet, and convenient. But for people who want a more powerful and realistic machine-based experience without buying a giant thrusting device, a MiraBot style platform could fill a major gap.

In my opinion, this is a huge untapped market. Women are already very open to buying sex toys, and there is clearly demand for better, more compact thrusting machines. If MiraBot can adapt the SR6 platform into a female friendly or penetrative toy system, I think it could become a major product category for them or anyone seeking penetration.

I haven’t been able to try out my MiraBot SR6 with VR just yet. It’s clear that purchasing a subscription is going to be the best way to go. I recently saw that they integrated complete integration of SexLikeReal and the MiraBot SR6 together, which is really exciting. I am still researching it but it seems like this might be the best way to simply find a video, press play and get started without a bunch of cumbersome downloads, setup, etc etc. I will likely end up purchasing a Lifetime Subscription to SLR and call it a day. Buy once, cry once.

Overall, I am extremely happy with the MiraBot SR6.

The hardware is excellent, the build quality feels premium, the unit is quiet, the motors are strong, and the experience can be absolutely outstanding once you find the right sleeve and motion settings. It has completely replaced hand masturbation for me and has given me a healthier, more satisfying way to manage a high libido.

The biggest weakness is the software but I know that MiraBot has said that this is their main focus going forward, so I take comfort in that. MiraPlay/MiraFun needs a cleaner UI, better tutorials, better calibration tools, a proper script editor, custom motion saving, web based script sharing, and a more professional design that matches the hardware. I also think the wiring, cable management, connectors, and MiraLube tubing could be improved.

But the core device is fantastic.

Even knowing the downsides, I would buy the MiraBot SR6 again. It is expensive, but for me, it delivered exactly what I wanted: a premium, powerful, customizable automatic stroker that actually works.

Would I buy it again? Absolutely. I still think that this is currently the best SR6 platform on the market and the MiraBot SR6 is truly a flagship model of it’s hardware class.

The ossm already exists and I don’t think multi axis translates well to dildos or fuck machines. It would have already been made if that were the case they would need to make a new design to create this. As far as female sex toys goes the market is already saturated. There are plenty of small thrusting dildos and machines that exist that aren’t bulky.

Whoa, you’re right. This is the first time I’ve heard of the OSSM and that’s insanely compact. Seems to be a much better option over a bulky Hismith.

I also own this product and I think your feedback is fair, and I agree with most of it. I would like to share my experience as a long time owner. I purchased the product close to the launch, and have owned it for about a year, and I strongly advise people not to buy this product. I don’t own another SR6 made by another party, so I can’t make comparisons, but this product has poor durability and QC.

From the beginning, the twist module came cracked, and the gears of the servo broke upon the first power on. TBF, for the servos, I didn’t really know what was what, and I think the arms were tangled and broke trying to reset to the home position, so that might be on me. The support was great, and I got those replaced for free.
After that, I have had the gears of the servos break four times over the year, during proper and regular use. The location is always the top left or top right arm (not the two center top arms), and always the same gear.


The upper part of the teeth of the center part is worn-out.

On average, the gear only lasts for three to four months with moderate frequency of use. To be more specific, no more than 10 mins at a time, two to three times a week at most, and sometimes a month or so of none use in between. Scripts weren’t excessively fast, I use lighter sleeves (300gs or so), and I don’t even use the lube module or the heater. So the duration and frequency of the use and the load is nothing special.
The open receiver also broke around five to six months. The screw hole holding the vertical part widens overtime and it gets loose, eventually breaking off.

I live in Japan and the warranty at the time of my purchase was a year and all these were replaced for free and quickly. So, the support is very good. However, the warranty was changed at some point after I purchased it, and it’s only 30 days now. They don’t sell individual gears, and as far as I searched, I couldn’t find the same gear on Amazon, AliExpress, etc. So you will need to buy a replacement servo for $39 plus the shipment, or a third-party servo somewhere else.

To sum it up, most of the issue is for the servo, or one specific gear, that they are using. It’s not due to a defect servo, as the replacement servos also broke. I haven’t seen talks about gears breaking frequently, so I am assuming this is not a common issue for the SR6 and it’s an issue for this product. Looking at their support on their website, I think they know about this issue and changed the warranty partly due to this. I understand that the usage conditions strongly affects the life of the servo/gear and they can’t be replacing them willy-nilly, but the durability is simply awful based on my experience.
I hope I’m an isolated case for the sake of others who bought it, but I’m pretty sure that’s not the case. With this product not really offering anything unique other than being more expensive for no reason and “looking” polished, I would go for a different product.

I’m very happy to hear that the core hardware experience worked well for you after dialing in the right motion settings. That has always been one of our main goals with MiraBot: to make an SR-style device feel less like a DIY project and more like a finished product that people can actually buy, set up, and use.

At the same time, you are completely right about several of the weak points.

The wiring and cable management can be better. The MiraLube tubing layout also clearly needs another look. Your photos and explanation are very helpful, and we will review this with our hardware team. These are not things we want to ignore.

For the software, I also agree with you. MiraPlay still has a lot of room to improve. The hardware is currently ahead of the software, and we know that. The UI, tutorials, calibration guidance, custom motion workflow, and script workflow all need to become cleaner and easier to use.

We are working on this now. In July, we plan to release a new feature called Motion Studio. The idea is to let users create and adjust motions visually, instead of relying only on the usual funscript workflow. Users will be able to create their own motions more easily, and we also plan to support sharing through MiraPlay Web.

Motion Studio is also being built with game/middleware integration in mind, so it should open up more possibilities beyond normal video playback as well.

When it is available, I would really like you to try it if you are interested. Based on your review, I think your feedback would be very useful for us.

We are still a small company, and honestly, building the hardware, software, firmware, accessories, and support system at the same time has not been easy. But reviews like this make us feel that the work is worth it. We really believe SR-style products can move from the DIY world into something more polished and commercial, and we want MiraBot to be part of that progress.

We still have a lot to improve, and I know we will not get everything perfect immediately. But we are listening, and we will keep improving the product step by step.

I do remember this case, but I don’t want to discuss your private order details publicly. What I can say here is that your frustration is completely understandable. If a customer has repeated servo gear failures, a cracked twist module, and an open receiver issue, then of course they would lose confidence in the product.

The early launch units were not perfect, and we have been improving the product since then based on feedback like yours. Still, repeated gear failures under normal use are not something we want to dismiss as “normal wear.” We will review this again with the servo supplier and also look into whether we can provide replacement gear sets for users who are comfortable repairing servos themselves.

I also understand your concern about the warranty change. It was part of a broader adjustment as pricing, sales regions, and support structure changed, but I understand why it can look concerning from a customer’s point of view.

I’ve never heard of servos failing like this either, I wonder if this same supplier is being used from a year back or if that supplier was having poor metallurgy issues. The main culprit I always see that break OSR2/SR6’s is heat from extended use.

I’m definitely going to keep an eye out for this and I will try to update my review a with any changes each quarter until we hit a year. It’s really nice the they’re so fast to replace things but I agree, I’d rather spend money on a more robust servo I can than waiting 2 weeks for parts to ship from Japan to America.

Absolutely, I’m really happy to help both your company and anyone trying to research something that will work for them. After experiencing an SR6, I’ve become a huge believer in such a device being able to honestly improve people’s overall wellness.

Motion Studio sounds like a fantastic idea. I think recording based on visual models vs people trying to figure out what “surge” and other settings mean would be hugely beneficial. Yeah, I think it is not a common issue for SR6 in general, or people are just not talking about it. It could be that my particular device is built in a way that is causing more strain on certain arms/servos than it’s supposed to. In that case, it’s just an isolated or limited case.

To be clear, replacements were done over the year and not just at the early stage of the purchase. I have no idea if their is a large stock made in one batch, but I would assume it’s a consistent issue as the replaced servo broke as well. As warranty is now expired, I’m not sure if I will order another servo or buy third-party servo.

Again, support was great everytime and provided me with a replacement under the warranty.

It was not my intention to say that the issue was the sole reason for the change in warranty, so I edited the earlier post a bit on that. I do understand it’s something you have to strike a good balance.

As I said, I haven’t seen any information about a similar issue for SR6 in general or this product, so it could be an isolated case and I have tried to point that out. My case could be due to the genreal build of the servos or gears, assuming they are not from one big bad batch, or my particular build causes the load to focus on certain arms/servos. I guess you have data to determine whether this is an isolated case or not, so I’ll leave it to you.

Availability of replacement gear sets could be a great pro-consumer idea if they are the parts that generally ware out past the servo’s expected service life under normal use, for outlier cases, or even for repairing damage caused by high load usage. I think it would benefit everyone.

In my individual case, I’m honestly not upset about it. Shit happens, and I knew there could be risks with this kind of product, especially newly launched products. At this point, I would guess the only thing for me to do is to order a replacement servo from you or a third-party servo somewhere else. I know it would take just a few minutes to replace it, but it’s kind of a hassle to do after having already done it several times and the prospect of needing to do it yet again in several months time seems not worth it anymore. Not to mention the $39 or whatever the third-party servo amy cost each time. May be I will come back to it later, but I am going to leave it as is for now.

We truly want every MiraBot user to have a good long-term experience, so we will keep looking into this seriously. I also agree that replacement gear sets could be a good option for users who are comfortable doing small repairs themselves.

We discussed this with the servo supplier today. The next steps are to evaluate how difficult the gear replacement is, prepare a clear guide, confirm which gear parts should be offered, and set up a separate replacement gear product page if everything is practical.

So please give us a little more time to prepare this properly. Once we have a clearer solution, I will update you again.
