MultifunPlayer with Restim not pausing output

I just finished connecting VLC → MFP → restim and it’s working really well. One odd thing is that when I pause the video MFP shows the pause but restim still continues to output.

If I connect restim directly to VLC pausing the video immediately pauses the output.

Is this just a limitation of the MFP → restim integraion or am I doing something wrong?

This is a limitation of the communication protocol used between MFP and Restim.

Not sure how restim uses TCode values but you could try enabling auto-home in MFP, and you can set delay/duration to 0 for instant auto-home. If default value in restim means no output the it should work.

Unfortunately restim continues to output even when the axes are at 0 so the auto home doesn’t help.
