Regular cleaning and maintenance of that device requires you to pull it away from the magnets, which puts stress on the plate between the tightening and piston parts of the scabbard.
This causes that plate to tilt, pushing the sides of the scabbard, eventually causing it to crack and splinter.
Now due to the sides cracking, making the hole of the plate wider, the piston can get stuck inside, resulting in the magnets at the bottom disconnecting
.Then, it will overtightening due to misalignment and can cause injury.
If lucky, the red light can turn on and stop all functions.
